How many times are you going to bump this before the mods lock it?

I voted for Ministry of Truth and Two Moons Monastery. But then, they are both my suggestions, so I'm fairly biased.

I haven't for my part seen aught but discussion in this thread, certainly nothing alike to a bump. That they aren't writing long-worded discourses at the moment does nothing to indicate an ingenuine Selective.

Plus, this is the 9th and counting thread the Marukhati have made, I highly doubt they're likely to go anywhere.

I'd vote for guild names, but I'm remaining un-selected for the time being, so I suppose that'd defeat the purpose of you guys voting in the thread to avoid wanderers.

I am by no means an expert on the more obscure elements of lore, but that does not diminish my love for it or my desire to preserve it.

I will gladly declare myself and join your esoteric order.

For love, for enlightenment, for Tamriel... Tam! RUGH!

Also, I think some of you may enjoy http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/87/monkeymask.jpg.

Edit* I'm voting for Whirling School and Mirror Logicians, by the way.

So... ZOS is asking for TESO-related fan creation. I thought this would be an opportunity to sneak in some proper lore materials via fan artworks, like how Summerset is supposed to look like, etc.

My vote:

Whirling School

and

Mirror Logicians.

The other part of me wonders if Bethesda makes TES VI in the High Elf province, how much impact will ZOS' corruption have?

In that case... Let's hope Hasphat Antabolis (KK) stands forever vigilant.

Or better yet, let's hope our very Dinmenel gets a job with gamesas. I don't know if he wants it, though, but he'd be a great addition to the loremaster roster. And mind you, my own vision of the Summerset is quite different from that of his... and still. I'd rather have his Alinor as the official version than the TESO one (unless that gets majorly revised). The thing is... I am ready to accept things that differ from my headcanon, even if said headcanon has lived in my heart almost half of my whole life. It's just that those things have to be challenging, exciting, and maintaining continuity with the sources previously published.

AND there's one giant edge Dinmenel has over the TESO team (and a lot of people) - he's a purely brilliant writer from a technical standpoint.

Awesome!! We've got some cool stuff in the "Lore Scene" thread in the Lore Forums already that we could go through (and someone gotta get in touch with Lady N because she's got loads of classy art in her dA gallery and blog). I'm also about to post my (raging delirious sketchy) vision of the "gritty" Altmeri agriculture in that same thread (if I manage to get it into the computer tonight), so we should probably make a list of our fave pieces from that thread at least, and have our representative email it in.

To arms, monkeys!!

It is possible that I am blind as a bat, but I do not see you on our roster on the front page. Are you self selected, friend?

It might better send the message if you guys sent all of it from your many different email addresses. That will drive home the point that there are many who think "this is what it should look like".

Looks like they are now. Actually, I'm pretty sure I recognize that avatar from the early threads.

Sweet. Gonna send away my sketchy Sunbird report from a few threads back. Might write a thing on Amnevelas Voru's visit to Nahk-ruhn and send that in.

Also, Mirror Logicians and Whirling School, although not sure I should have a say really.

Nerevar said, 'Why are you doing this, milord?'
Vivec said, 'To make room for the fire.'

And the Hortator could see that Vivec was out of sorts, though not because of the impending new power to come. The golden warrior-poet had been exercising his Water Face as well, learned from the dreughs before he was born.

Nerevar said, 'Is this to keep you from the fire?'

Vivec said, 'It is so that I may see with truth. It, and my place here at the altar of Padhome in the house of False Thinking, serve so that I may see beyond my own secrets. The Water Face cannot lie. It comes from the ocean, which is too busy to think, much less lie. Moving water resembles truth by its trembling.'
Nerevar said, 'I am afraid to become slipshod in my thinking.'
Vivec said, 'Reach heaven by violence then.'

So to quiet his mind the Hortator chose from the Fight Racks an axe. He named it and moved on to the first moon.
There, Nerevar was greeted by the Parliament of Craters, who knew him by title and resented his presence, for he was to be a ruling king of earth and this was the lunar realm. They shifted around him in a pattern of entrapment.

'The moon does not recognize crowns or scepters,' they said, 'nor the representatives of kingdoms below, lion or serpent or mathematician. We are the graves of those that have migrated and become ancient countries. We seek no Queens or thrones. Your appearance is decidedly solar, which is to say a library of stolen ideas. We are neither tear nor sorrow. Our revolution succeeded in the manner that is was written. You are the Hortator and unwelcome here.'

And so Nerevar carved at the grave ghosts until he was out of breath and their Parliament could make no new laws.
He said, 'I am not of the slaves that perish.'

The ending of the words is ALMSIVI

(My votes go to Two Moons and Whirling School.)

Hmmm, yeah, you're probably right. How do you think... should we still sign the emails with "Tam! RUGH!" or any other indication of us furthering a common cause?

And SpaceMarine is a great person who also believes in Weird Tamriel.

that's up to the individuals who send them I guess, though if the weird stuff all has that signature they might be more likely to pigeonhole us as a vocal minority spamming them
