They are making like 5 at the moment.. You Know?

All funded on Kickstarter since no publisher will give them work.

Buy a 60 dollar game, and pay 50 bucks on it later. Woo! I remember 110 dollars would get me 5 games.

Still can if you buy used and spend $15 per game to 'activate' the features.

You're right. I was interested in it, but now it'll be a buggy mess.

You sure?

Nothing is certain, I've just had bad experiences with their games.

To bad it's not jewel incrusted---it would be worth more.

That's another DLC. The golden part already is. You only have to pre-order the cushion though.

All their games that they were screwed over on that is.. They have never not been screwed.. Except for this south park game.. South Park studios is pretty much giving Obsidian free reign.. Also meaning there is no set date of a release.. Just look at the launch dates of all their games and you will realize that they were basically releasing games every-year for about 6 years straight.. Probably even more..

Well that's good to know about them getting the time they need with the South Park game. I love New Vegas, don't get me wrong. More than Fallout 3 even. I found Alpha Protocol to be garbage though.

Remember the days when buying the game once got you the whole game, and stuff like what EA now charges for were unlockables and cheats? An expansion was later released, that usually had 1/2 or atleast 1/3 of the base game's content, with the base game's ideas further refined, that usually made their gameplay more pleasant. EA's Command and Conquers are a good example of this. (The expansion part, i mean).

Can't these ginormous corporations self-destruct already so we could get back to those days? I'd like to see it happen before i'm too old to have the hand-cordination to enjoy them :hehe:

That's it I will never buy an EA game again. I haven't bought one published or developed by them since 2011 and that is set to continue. It's a disgrace that you have to pay ridiculous sums to get the full experience.

This is a very good idea on EA's part. They're doing this because they care about the consumers.

EA FOREVER!

Just need to create a console that has a built in card swiper.. the built in camera will just be needed to verify the person.
...

Feels like so much crap needs to be tacked on games nowadays.
EA, take notes. The Hyperscan could use another look.

I'm not really surprised EA is doing this. More surprised people actually payed real money for a gun that would be used on one playthrough of a horror game.

"Consumers are enjoying and embracing that way of the business."

What a broad statement, i wonder if they can actually put numbers to back that up, id pretty much bet a higher percentage arent taking using the service, and that why my copy of Diablo 3 will never see the light of day again. And i hope that, they are going to state somewhere on the cover of the game that, it contains microtransactions, because i didnt even know Dead space 3 did.

Not this consumer.
I wonder if that statement is actually true, or if EA's collective head is that far up its ass.

Indeed, that line stood out for me. I wonder what data has made them make that claim.

I will agree that it seems people are eating up micro-transactions, at the very least in the iOS/Android moble market and the MMO market.
