Even if they do, won't you still have to wait for the activation on Steam? So regardless of whether you have the game early, you wouldn't be able to actually play it.

As it gets closer a lot of things are happening at work right now that they keep trying to schedule on either the 10th or 11th. I keep telling them, "No, I have a previous commitment that I can't get out of!"

I am married with young children so playing video games right after work is impossible, and I'm too tired to enjoy myself for more than an hour or so in the evening. Therefore, the minute the game's launch date was announced I took the 10th, 11th, and 12th off from work so that I could eat pizza, drink beer, and play FO4 guilt free. Normally this kind of thing is reserved for the NCAA tournament, but 2015 will be the exception.

Of course, my health will deteriorate slightly but I'm a distance runner and hopefully that will somewhat off-set the deleterious effects. Either that or I will get some major side stiches while running on a stomach overburdend with pizza and beer causing me to give up on it until the three day digital bacchanolia is over with.

I'm not brave enough to tell that to my wife. But good on you.

Indeed. She is pretty accommodating if I give he enough heads up hahahaha. I do most of the cooking so I'll have to pop my head up every once in a while to make dinner and whatnot. I don't want her hangry...you wouldn't like her when she is hangry...

I have to go to university in the morning of the 10th, and again on the 11th. And we got two exams the week after, so i'll probably not get to play to much at all that week or the week following.

So moderation on my part and my discipline will be thoroughly tested.

I will be tracking my order and if the package arrives early in the day I may take a few hours of vacation and come home early.

I will come home from work and there will be a box that Amazon left at my front door.

I will install the discs and while the game is installed I will download the Pipboy app for my iPad mini.

I will setup Mod Organizer with 2 profiles and create a male and female character on the first go. Hopefully I don't spend too much time with the Character creation.

I shall sacrifice a chicken! KFC probably. Then I will pray to the download gods the download servers can handle all the downloads on the 10th. All the downloads almost broke that sentence. It's getting bad already!

My wife is pretty accommodating to my game habit and knows I play intensely for a while and then slack off. She has told me she will miss me. My first wife was also pretty cool with my gaming and would let me have a few hours every night before bed to play Forza 3 back in the day. I set up the "room" and controlled what tracks we would go to. I always went right down the line, and after the last track I went to bed.

With Fallout 4 I don't think I will sleep much those first few nights, but I do have health concerns that will necessitate I take a break now and then. I hope to have at least 20-30 hours in the game before I go back to work on the 12th.

I'll get as much of my college work done on the Monday before release. I still have a class I have to go to, but I'm giving as much time to Fallout 4 as I can.

I'll hopefully get my copy at the 8th or 9th of november, they usually send it 2 days before when you pre-order stuff here.

I don't have many rituals except to get myself a cold beer or drink, snacks and sit back and wait the long lasting minutes or hours it takes to install :brokencomputer:

I teach school during the day, so no midnight release for me, but Amazon's Release-Day Delivery should have my copy safely waiting for me when I get home (which is usually between 4:00 and 4:45 in the afternoon, depending upon after-school meetings, etc.). Will be firing up the PS4, and at least be noodling around with character creation and whatnot that first evening. I'll probably only get a few hours' playtime in each night until the weekend rolls around, unfortunately.

My stepbrother is a manager at Wal-Mart, and he's timed his entire annual vacation to Fallout 4's release week, the lucky bastard.

deleted put on comfy pants and escape from reality for 2-3 days. Cats will eat crumbs of me and keep me clean. Toilet breaks will be like formula one pit stop, max 2 seconds. I might blow a poo poo valve

I just got a friend of mine to agree to make me some smoked Jerky for my FO4 adventures. I LOVE jerky, and with home-made (and he's good with that smoker), I'll be set! He said he'd make several flavors as well. Oh and thanks for the reminder about crock pot meals! I should get some of those going for Release Day/Week. Maybe my wife will make me a couple of her chicken pot pies.... I think I'll be set food-wise. My computer's all ready. Just need to do some room cleaning and get the game and I'm all set.

He should go to the pet store and buy some iguana's so you can have some real iguana bits to eat while playing.

I'm hoping I don't have any impending exams during that week (which is taunting me with it's possibility).
But my general day will probably be quite similar to the lunch of New Vegas:
Wake up at about 9am, buy my body weight in Irn-Bru and snacks; then hope the post man is feeling punctual and I receive my pip-boy edition at around 11am.

I'll probably start playing at 12pm, and wondering where the series went wrong at 1pm.

Hopefully receive the game from Amazon on time at least and enter the code into Steam, download it and wait for unlock or play, i'm happy with that plan.
