Same, this is bull.

By the time they get this fixed a lot of the bonus content will be worthless.

Well played, team.
I take this back, I can't even play online. Says my key is invalid, I've triple checked it with the one steam has listed. It is valid.

Also why do I have to enter it each damn time I start the game?

It's not just Steam. I purchased the game from EADM, and same issue.

Same issue, come on, this is **** stupid. If I don't end up with my "Day 1 Access..." you might be looking at some advertising related legal troubles, Crytek.

Really? Stfu dude, **** happens. If you don't like it then go back to playing Cod or something.

Steam, same problem. Very disappointing. We get shafted 8 hours, no preload, no steam achievements (yes, that somewhat annoys me, I'm sorry, the game has trophies/achievements on ps3/x-box, for all you port-hard-on-fanboys it sure feels like its missing stuff) and now I can't really play MP because I would like to have my 'goodies' activated before I plow through the first ten levels.

Cest la vie.

I'll be calling a lawyer if I end up playing MP without my content. I advise anyone else to do the same.

Your legal threats mean nothing to EA you pitiful person.

Sorry, this ain't the demo anymore. I paid for a product I so far have not received as advertised. This is on it's way to being false advertising. I notice you don't even have something intelligent to say, so you insult me by assuming I play COD? That's as **** pathetic as a game's advertised content not existing.

You are correct, JingleHell. We did pay for this. I accepted the demo for all its issues cause it was a FREE demo. I forked over cash for this game and I'd like for the promised bonus to work 100%.

I was pretty disgusted with Delta's comment as well. I know I'm just re-iterating what Jingle is saying, but the company made a promise at this point. They had weeks to test the servers through the demos and they launch a product on a day you can't even access it? You have been taught wrong if you believe it's okay for a company to **** on their customer (even though they do it all the time) with your "**** happens" mentality. I paid money for your product Crytek. FIX IT.

I was one of the people who happily defended all of the demo's issues on this same forum. Getting told "**** happens" now is the most pathetic joke ever. The demo was free, I stuck up for Crytek, on the assumption that when I bought my final, release copy, Limited Edition, I would have the advertised content.

The content doesn't exist, and if anyone thinks lawyers can't tack on enough monetary value to get litigation moving, they're retarded. I have an issue with spending money on a product and not getting what the BOX says is inside. Anyone who thinks the appropriate response to that is "**** happens" is the worst kind of moronic, pathetic, uneducated fanboy.

Same problem here. I can't believe this. Sat up all night stoked for an early delivery, unwrap, install, peruse the literature..INVALID SERIAL. The f*ck. Seriously? I took a day off of work for this, ya'll, & the straws piled en masse are about to break my back. Same thing happened when I ordered Dead Space 2. EA server's ruined hours of well-payed for exclusive, day one access. Fix this fast, seriously.

I just received an email from the ea-store about 5 minutes ago with my pre order redeem code, went to http://www.gamesas.com/limitededition, entered the code, and it went through. Now under purchase history, I have:

Crysis 2 Presale 3 03/22/2011

Crysis 2 Presale 2 03/22/2011

Crysis 2 Presale 1 03/22/2011

Crysis 2 Limited Edition 03/22/2011

At the same time, Crysis 2 is now available for download via EADM.

I assume all limited edition/pre purchase codes just didn't work until Crysis 2 was officially released by its publisher, which technically isn't for another hour and a half according to http://www.ea.com/crysis-2.

Problem has still not been remedied. I formally request an update detailing the specifics of the complication and/or strategy of resolution, with an estimated time for "limited edition" users having access to the game.

@riuthamus

you might want to post your problems at the Steam forum then. I would think the problems you're having have to do with Steam unlocking the game before EA even unlocked it.

I do know DX11 is confirmed it'll probably be released out as a patch. I read about it in Crymod forums. As for the 64bit folder, i have no idea and haven't installed it yet but i suggest you try show folders? Maybe it's hidden? I'm sure it's there unless we have to wait for a patch? Didn't they say there would be a 64bit folder? O,o confusing.. As for the limited edition thing. Do you HAVE to input the codes on this website? Not ingame?

The email I received with the limited edition/preorder promotion code said even if you try to redeem it IN GAME, it just takes you to the website to enter your code.

There is no 64 bit.exe It's only 32bit and only dx9. BUT,it still looks amazing and plays even better. the lean...not so much on the PC, but at least it wasn't removed all the way. Just takes some getting used to. BTW, I have the pre-order retail from gamestop, and picked it up this morning. Played the PS3 last night, minor differences really save for lighting, textures and particle fx. I just can't login with my gamesas account on the game, but I figured that would happen so no biggie. Haven't bothered w/ LE code, too many NOT WORKING posts.

QUESTION
Why can't I redeem my Crysis 2 promo code at gamesas.com?
ANSWER

Some users were experiencing a corrupted login when visiting gamesas.com to redeem their promo code. This corrupted login was preventing them from being able to redeem their code properly. To correct this problem, the auto-login function has been disabled.

Before you may redeem your code, you will have to re-enter your gamesas login credentials. You must login with your registered e-mail address, not your username.

If you have already tried to redeem your code unsuccessfully, you will have to delete your browser cookies before you may successfully login and redeem your code. Deleting your cookies should clear any corrupted login data from your browser and allow you to proceed with code redemption.

==================

Thanks that didn't fix it, sigh
