QUESTION
Why can't I redeem my Crysis 2 promo code at gamesas.com?
ANSWER

Some users were experiencing a corrupted login when visiting gamesas.com to redeem their promo code. This corrupted login was preventing them from being able to redeem their code properly. To correct this problem, the auto-login function has been disabled.

Before you may redeem your code, you will have to re-enter your gamesas login credentials. You must login with your registered e-mail address, not your username.

If you have already tried to redeem your code unsuccessfully, you will have to delete your browser cookies before you may successfully login and redeem your code. Deleting your cookies should clear any corrupted login data from your browser and allow you to proceed with code redemption.

Don't worry, succesfully redeeming your LE promo code doesn't actually get you the content anyways. You aren't missing anything.

Still getting "Email or password is invalid"

Why isn't this code an in-game option? I don't see why there needs to be ANY contact with this website.

Same issue here bought my copy over steam. I can get my CD keys to stay in the game so I dont have to type them every time I access multiplayer but I can not get the bundle key to work on the gamesas login page.

Hi everyone,

I couldn't get my LE activation code working for me. I tried going to http://www.gamesas.com/limitededition to activate the LE code, but it keeps saying code not found.
Then i tried going to purchase history, it keeps showing - Error An unknown error has occur.

Is there something wrong with the server or am i missing any steps? please advise. Thank you very much..

I have a similar problem in that I entered the code, it shows up in my purchase history but when I click on the (presumed) content link it says, "The specified DLC item does not exist."

My Limited Edition/Preorder Promotion worked and I received all promised bonuses upon first login to multiplayer.

I purchased Crysis 2 from the EA store. Downloading of Crysis 2 was allowed starting around 9am through EADM. It finally just finished. According to the EA site for Crysis 2, http://www.ea.com/crysis-2, the game didn't unlock until 11:00am, and it is currently 10:54 am for me. As far as I am concerned, EA has followed through on everything(except for DX11 of course, but that's a whole other ordeal).

For any one who bought the game via any other distributor, I would think your problems have to do with that specific distributor and not with EA or Crytek.

Except we aren't submitting our code to steam or any other downloadable service, we're submitting it to EA through THIS SITE.

They don't MAKE UP the codes. They get them from the company that makes the game and/or publisher. I have a code. It just says it's not found when I try to register it.

I'm with the EA live support, just upgrade to a Tier 2 chat agent

this is going no where I work in a call center, I know how this works. My Tier 2 agents is my friend sitting next to me, and I'm his Tier 2 ;)

Your experience inspired me to try the multiplayer option and I had the same result as you, it shows content available in-game. Interesting thing is, I installed Crysis 2 (and it installed EADM) but it doesn't show up in EADM as a supported game...though other games show up fine. I don't think I'm upset, just confused. ;-)

Tell the big guys at Crytek that they will not being seeing another penny from me unless they fix these damn issues in the hour. I payed for the pre-order and had to wait to play it. There have been plenty of people that are not having this issue and when I put a $60 investment in a game, I'd expect a little better from Crytek.

But now the problem is that when I log onto the MP mode, it says that I received the bonus things but when I join a game, it's like I never unlocked anything (from the preorder bonus).

to confirm, my preorder bonus code just worked as well. i dont know if it has to do with the server, but try it in all capital letters, and with the dashes.

now all i need to do is get my multiplayer code working!

I didn't have any DLC's downloaded... damn :|

I keep redeeming the code, but it didn't show the DLC that needs to be downloaded... and this happen? OMG.!

Help please!

Also, I don't see my purchases on my Purchase History :| aaaaarghhhh!
