A promise to Bethesda

Post » Mon Nov 05, 2012 8:20 am

If dragon riding (not just in cutscenes) is added to the game in the new DLC, I will never ever complain about the game or the company again. I will also worship Todd Howard and do everything Bethesda says to do. Dragon Mounts would eliminate the need to fast travel anymore. If this happens I will precede to drool while putting the disc into the tray. I will then do whatever it takes to get the dragon, name it Dave, and then massacre everybody in the game. If it's not added, I will probably cry in a closet for an hour than go back and play Skyrim. This is promise. Dragons would be so bad*** and would make the game awesome million.

Werebears would work too :)

It's an alright feature ( I guess ), but I'm not a big fan of this turning Skyrim into " How to train your dragon " Dragons are supposed to be feared and respected not turned into house pets

They wouldn't be pets. It would be like how Odaving helps you out when you want. You can ride the dragons and be the feared and respected one :)

Werebears because they are supposed to be the most common Lycanthrope in Skyrim and the fact that I would like to do a Beorn play through  ( if you can turn into a werebear that is )

Yah that too, but the guy going through the crowd of people and knocking everybody in his way into the air was so awesome on the gamjam video. Werebears (Know matter how stupid they sound) are a must.

I don't think dragon mount works like you think it works. It has been stated that it could just be like fast travelling, without an actual control of the dragon.

That would be kinda cool if they showed taking off and landing but without it being that way, I don't think it would be added becuase it would be pointless. My guess is how it was in the gamejam video.

I'm guessing that it does, you can jump on the back of your dragon and ride it as you would a horse except for the fact that your flying  Which turns Skyrim into " How to train your dragon "

I doubt it'll be for fast travel. There are lines referencing whether you can cast spells on one, if I remember correctly.

Though I still don't get how they could add something like this. Skyrim's map is rather small if you think about it...

BUT the ceiling for the game is rather high, you must have noticed how high the dragons can fly. So there should be ample room for the player to fly and for combat during flight.

A dragon at "normal" speed isn't that fast. The thing about dragons is that their speed seems to be highly variable. I've seen them cover insane distances in almost no time at all. But as long as their speed is reduced from "F-22" to "dragon", I think it's viable.

I dont want to be hated, but... besides I have no problem with riding a dragon... concering the werebear matter... I dont like werewolfs in the first place, the last thing I want is a werebear (unless they are just for be killed). But I prefeer another kind of creature for the kill, not a silly werebear.

Werebears only make sense because as someone said Skyrim is home of the Werebears so it kind of kicks lore in the shorts if they aren't in the game eventually however I am not a huge fan myself because bears are annoying enough, now we might have to deal with random werebear attacks too. I'd like to be one but I wouldn't want to deal with them in attacks.

I have the lore-hope explanation that werebears are just extinct and that is the cause of why there are noone present. Perhaps the good companions, hunting as a pack of werewolf anihilated them. I have hopes on that, despite I hate werewolfs.

It's only "How to Train your Dragon" if you suddenly develop feels for your dragon, and you're a whiny, nerdy Nord.
