And the only Racial Power that is actually good and useful is the Orc's Beserker Rage.
It's hardly unique though. You can achieve the same effect by simply lowering the difficulty level - the advantage is that using a racial power doesn't break immersion.
There is no attributes to balanced out every races unlike in Oblivion. in previous game every races have different attributes, that balanced out advantage and disadvantages of every races.
What was the disadvantage of playing a Breton again?
If you're a powergamer, Bretons are the way to go, we already know it. Bethesda nerfed their 50% magic resistance and they're
still more powerful than other races simply because magic resistance is extremely useful. Tell us about other races. Compare Imperials to Argonians or Bosmer. Then we can discuss.
Again, it is NOT about forcing or not forcing huh!
it is about BALANCE
Why do we need balance? You can master every skill and practically become a god playing as an Imperial. So what's wrong with them?
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see more meaningful racial abilities. But I don't need them to be balanced. There's a problem with Imperials not because they're weaker than others, but because their racials are completely useless. Calm once a day? Really? More gold in a game where you become rich by the time you advance to level 10?
Argonians are a good example of what I want. You can't say that waterbreathing is more or less powerful than Berserker's Rage. It's something entirely different and used in different situations. I want every race to have something like this. Not a generic illusion spell, not a skill boost, but something unique to their physiology or culture.
Why buying car A then put in radio, cd player and air condition later, while car B already have everything?
You're thinking like a powergamer. I chose an Imperial because I came up with a great backstory for an Imperial soldier and no other race would fit. I didn't even think about her racial abilities, they were irrelevant. They don't have any major impact on the game.
I chose car B because it looked better. Or because I wanted to support the company. Or maybe because I've been driving this brand for years and I intend to stay faithful to it.
