give 2 reasons that rally racing in rage and multiplayer is like chess are you high, multiplayer even at MLG level is mindless and has no strategy.

Rally Racing is not real multiplayer...so it is not like chess.

I'd like to see you tell MLG players that what they do is mindless.

You obviosly didn't read my posts...not throwing a fit...just pointing out the FAIL that Id perpetrated by not having TDM in Rage. My thread "I want REAL Multiplayer" was the most viewed thread and most posted on thread here. And the vast majority voted in favor of wanting TDM in Rage....so I guess those people are all dumb like me, right?

As for your comments in regards to Dead Space...horde mode was never going to happen for Dead Space 2...so I didn't fight to keep it out, its just a fact that the team never had plans for horde....I am for a co-op mode in Dead Space 3 because I am an inclusionist who wants to see my favorite franchises expand their audience.

Making sound arguments and defending the team's right to have TDM in Dead Space 2 was good for me, made some really good friends. People on the Dead Space forums had the same FAILED argument, TDM was going to "take away" from the SP and ruin the experience...WRONG. Dead Space 2 turned out to be an amazing game....the SP was amazing and people are STILL PLAYING the VERSUS mode. So, once again, I was right and you were wrong.

by the way...I only visit these forums about once every 5 or 6 days....too busy playing games to argue with lost people.

I think having a TDM would have been great, its not mindless or primitive, its just fun. The whole problem with TDM's these days is that all the effort of developers goes into it, and not campaign, but when you have a solid campaign like Rage, putting in a TDM couldn't hurt, as long as campaign is still that main focus point, which games like Battlefield 3 and to a similar extend Call of Duty seem to disregard.

TDM, yeah it's nice. I don't think it's mindless, because the whole fact that you strategize with your team proves otherwise.

Of course, I'm not bothered at all with the lack of TDM in Rage, and I'm just glad to know for sure wether or not they'll add it. I am not dissappointed.

Although TDM can be stradegized, it really is like 95% just run-n-gun with no reall plan, except "stick together, move as a group, and dominate as a group. Let's guard this area, or let's attack that area." That's what I'd see just about every time.

If Rage2 also doesn't have TDM I still won't be dissappointed :tongue: Of course if Rage2 has a bad ending as well... that's another thing.

I think combat racing/rally kicks ass. TDM can blow, I can get my fix elsewhere if I want it. I didn't post (or read) NX1000's previous thread cause I thought it was silly to try and dem.. ask for something that we knew wasn't going to happen. I would have voted combat rally/racing and would have felt silly if I had agreed with him after reading more of his posts.

rally racing is REAL multiplayer you are playing with Multiple people online oh and it's not like, chess never will be and i play chess and i play TDM they are not alike oh and before you give me this MLG [censored] all you have to know is the map the rest is luck. Oh and i said two reasons.

here is what makes "real" multiplayer.
Multiple people can play in one game at the same time. thats it. thats the definition.
For someone that is an inclusionist, you sure do denounce a lot of multiplayer modes, NX.

I find the RAGE mp refreshing and its great to play an FPS which focus is SP.

Some of what you have said have been blatent troll attempts. However i will refrain from flaming you, you're entitled to your opinion. But just because people dont agree with them their argument isn't 'failed'

Rage doesnt need TDM but we need the rest of the content it didnt come with, thats the only thing Im looking forward to. If not I gotta trade this game in towards Skyrim. But Skyrim neeeeeeds team death match too if not its going to "fail"by N1's logic, bot killing in single player is for skillless gamers .
