It's always sad when the world looses a bright talent such as Adam. I read Bethesda's tribute and watched the slideshows of his work. It seems that the world just grew a bit colder and less colorful with his passing. His legacy will live on!

You seem to have an interesting view of your own Mortality, I guess it depends on how you live your life and who is part of it. I think since I am married, have family and a 2 year old daughter, that my death would be something to be mourn, so in a way it would be special, only one who has given up on life would not be afraid of Death. Adam certainly deserved to live on and create more masterpieces alas now he will have to do it in spirit form.

I have to apologize. I did not mean to offend anyone. Death is something that is happening to everything, everywhere. In my eyes that makes it rather ordinary. That said, Most people that has died deserved to live and be mourned. I am in no way implying that Adam deserved it. Also, did you just call me suicidal? I most certainly am not!

In World of Warcraft, wasn't there some kind of monument dedicated to a staff member who passed away during development?

That would be a nice tribute for Adam, for some kind of in-game dedication in a future Skyrim dlc or expansion.
That would be cool, or maybe if you ever get to go to savengarde again in a DLC you could see him there as a skyrim character, although that probably won't happen.

I think they will put some sort of Easter Egg in TES 6 or the next Future title they said he was drawing for right up to his end, I think Adam would have liked this, hopefully it will be amusing and to his sort of humor! Maybe they could put the squeezeable nun in ? !!

A squeezable nun would be nice.

RIP Adam. Thank you for giving us a such a wonderful world to explore. Your legacy will live forever in Nirn.
Agreed.
I was playing and modding for fun, now it is in mindful respect for crafting the beautiful art I explore whenever I can. Thank you Adam. You will be missed.

Just remember that you are going to die anyway, and that those extra years you've earned will probably be spent in diapers.
If smoking makes you happy, then continue!
People should live their lives and not be slaves to them.
Of course, that doesn't mean that you should go to other extreme and waste your life on smoking, drinking, drugs, partying and similar under the excuse that 'they are just living their life'.
One should find a nice balance.

OT:
R.I.P. :sadvaultboy:
I get these annoying cougs in the morning, my throat generally doesn't feel all that good and my money is drained completely from it.
So it doesn't make me happy, all it does for me that is a positive is give me a reason to go out and cool down at work. (I work in a restaurant and I wash dishes mostly so it gets pretty damn hot.)
But since I'm not gonna keep this job forever I don't see the point in keeping an addiction forever.
Perhaps the later years will be spent in diapers but at least the early years won't be spent short on cash with crap lungs.

Doesn't mean I'll stop drinking or taking cocaine though. :D

Head to http://www.elderscrolls.com to learn more about him and his fantastic work, it even has a nice collage of his amazing artwork for each game he worked on, believe me there is alot of it... the guy was amazing at the amount of artwork he produced! Truly one of a kind, I wouldn't like to be the next Artist that Bethesda hire, those are some big boots to fill, not that you can ever replace a man like Adam.

I've just found out about Adam's passing. He was the same age as me, and we both worked on the Elder Scrolls as artists, although Adam's time was after I left Bethesda. He was a thundering great artist, creativity oozed from him. And while the industry looses a great talent, his loss to his friends and family must be an order of magnitude greater. My thoughts are with them at this time.
