Ghostly horse seems much cooler. May not be as strong or as powerful as Shadowmere but it looks freaking awesome!

It depends it the new ghost horse can die. Today I realised that Shadowmere isnt invincible after jumping her off the bridge to the collage of winterhold. It the new horse is invincible then I chose it.

In terms of looks I would pick the new ghost horse, looks sick haha but it might not be as strong as shadowmere.

I've heard shadowmere will come back out of the pond where you got her after 10 game days. Never tried it but I hope it helps.

No the funny part was I did that right after I got him so I had to walk to the objective for the DB urgent mission. I'm still surprised I made it in time.

Never really rode horses. Didn't need them since I have more stamina than them. (trust me, I do) But with mounted combat added in, I might give them a chance if the combat is smooth enough. And when I do, I'll probably choose the new mount. One little problem. It does not look like its.........look, fits into Skyrim. Yeah, maybe in the Soul Cairn, but not much in Skyrim. I'll still ride it though just to look cool.

My one vampire character after becoming a vampire lord will certainly use the zombie horse since he's most likely going to destroy every living being in Skyrim once he returns from the Soul Cairn.

Shadowmere will still be used by appropriate characters.

Shadowmere will always be the sleek and thin Thoroughbred from Oblivion. I just can't picture her as a harry horse of the north. Thus I will gladly accept the new ghost rider of Dawnguard.

Oh good! I was worried because I ran into this horse called "Bubbles" who was also a ghost horse. I got him killed about 5 seconds later when I got reaped in the nearby river and got swept over the water falls. xD
