I'm assuming, by the comments, that people generally feel that the only reason others crate female characters is cause they get some sort of perverse pleasure from it.

I dunno about you, but when I play a character for X number of hours, I'd rather be looking at a female than a male.

Like this guy who obviously has more than video games on his mind while playing.

Sorry guys, I'm female and generally find there's a lack of playable female characters in games. Hence, I make and play female characters when I can. Unlikely to make any male ones for the time being, though I'll be happy to post my husband's screenshots when he gets to play.

This is not a gender-specific thread, however. There have definitely been male characters posted throughout all thirteen threads. You just have to look. In fact, Giblet, just a few posts above, is male.

@King Coin: I have no idea what happened to result in that skeleton! Very, very weird. I'll go back and poke around there some time maybe.

@Zinni: ...are you loosing an AXE instead of an arrow?!?!?! That's amusing

Is "tfc 1" the same command as "tfc", i.e. the one that lets you control the camera instead of your character? If so, is it a bug causing the image to freeze? I remember seeing a youtube video suggesting a command causing the game to nearly freeze by slowing down the time drastically, perhaps it's that command you're talking about?

No, it is not the same command, hence the "1" at the end of it.

I however do agree there could be more racial variety than nords being shown. Although, they are the only decent human looking folk IMO. Not saying Inperials don't look badass...

As someone mentioned earlier, a lot of mods you all are using make your nord women look so shiny it's unbelievable, and unrealistic. Kinda like putting on your makeup for 15 minutes to go to walmart, except in this case trying to look your best while fighting a dragon.

All i use for my female Nord is "No more blocky faces". I agree that it does make her face a little too clean and shiny, but I try to keep it in check by adding dirt and darkening parts of the face such as eye shadow and eye tint. Overall I think the somewhat too clean texture is better than a blocky one.

Also, the vikings (Who the nords are obviously based heavily on, though not completely) were a very clean people. The Norwegian word for Saturday (L?rdag, derived from Laurdag) used to mean bath-day, though that meaning is lost in the modern word the point is basically that vikings bathed enough to dedicate one day a week for it. Not much by todays standards of course, but at the time they were considered excessively clean by others. Vikings also made soap.

So really, the clean face makes a ton of sense for my female Nord, so yeah...

Also, nice shots folks. I will be modding my game eventually so I can make an elf - any elf - that doesn't look pissed off ALL THE TIME. *sigh*

Yep, and I thought it was funny too. Mjoll must've found some ancient, steel battleaxe launching, invisible Dwemer harpoon gun in Sky Haven while I was out.

And you or anyone else posting their characters shouldn't have to explain themselves or their playstyle in this thread.

I too miss Divayth Fyr...Now if Eyebrows and beards actually would look white and not yellow it could look more accurate. Not a big fan of the white hair option as it makes my damned eyebrows almost disappear!

I hope someone makes a good mod for Divayth Fyr.

How'd you manage to get your Dunmer to look so good?
