Can anybody who has the DLC, tell me if that's the heavy version? I assume so because of the shoulder pad, but I'd like to be wrong.

No its the light version there are 3 types of light armor and 2 Heavy types I think.

I've seen 2 types of light Dawnguard, both are the same but different colour. Ones dark while the other is a light version. Heavy is the same, both the same armor but in different shades. Vampire armor ( light ) comes in 3 colours and then I've seen one heavy varaint, so far. I'm only half way through the main quest ( I think ).

I just started the first dungeon, and I thought that I'd share some pics. These are Armor pics, for a female character. I found the Vampire Armor on some Vamps that I vanquished. There are also some Dawnguard Armor pieces as well. Those were found in Fort Dawnguard.

This particular Vampire Armor is Light, with a Rating of 51, and Weight of 5. There are also Black Vampire Boots, which look pretty snazzy as well.

It's not much, but I hope you enjoy. If anyone wants to request pics of something, let me know and I'll keep an eye open for it. Again, I just started, so we'll see what goodies I come across in my adventures.

Anyone by any chance have a shot of the new Vale creature retextures? I saw some in a video and they look gorgeous.

The new armour certainly looks good.

it is one of the light versions, one is like a vest and the other is like this but no shoulder piece and then the 2 heavy have both shoulder pieces.

Just started my Vampire play through, I really like how the vampire stuff ( along with the Dawnguard ) has this " Dark ages " feel. They fit the game better then some of the vanilla armors IMO.


I just started my vampire play through, I think I'm gonna end up carrying 2 armors at all times. I like how the Royal armor looks and I also like the generic vampire armor. The Dawnguard heavy helm matches the vampire stuff very nicely as well, just hope as a vampire I'll be able to get one

Good to finally see that red line on the upper lips of vampires that folks have been talking about. Thanks guys.

The Dawnguard side was my first run through, very well done ( not as many enemies to face as I'd like ) but great all the same. That shield is AWESOME, it takes a charge from being struck and holds it. Once you save enough energy ( there's visual cues ) you can shield bash em with the same power as Unrelenting force and send them flying


I made the crown as well in hopes that it would carry over into my wolf form, then it dawned on me that it gets removed when you change
I heard on the " graqe vine " that the hawk bone necklace is craftable, haven't tried yet but I hope it's true. I kinda stole mine, spoils of war and all

Oooh, wish I had Dawnguard right now! I simply love Arvak and those new armor sets.
