Hey carrots buddy, i started as a vl, but when i found out it has the same (as the normal vamp) clippin problems with my main chars hair when she wears a thief hoody i started over again and did the dawnguard side with my main werewolf... and that's the way my betty is going to stay. But now i just gonna play the vamp side for the fun of it, but again i don't like that it messes up my pretty char. Werewolf FTW.

Ah see my fanger is VERY ugly, I was going for a Nosferatu look. So I take full advantage of that glitch, my fanger is wearing the TG hood under the Shrouded hood for the extra effects


Bah, still doesn't change that it's a REALLY nice looking crown. Better looking then the special one you get from a side quest. Hey.... maybe that's why it seems incomplete, it was supposed to be the special crown not that double moonstone thingy. I think it's called the Aetherial Crown( the double moonstone thingy )

Haha you don't know the problem with my main chars hair... when she wears a thief hoodie as a vamp she turns half bold and the hoodie is invisible.

Not all do, really. It seems that they show the least on the palest skintone. Even if wrinkles are still visible, you can "distract" from that by giving your character a rounder face to make her look younger. You can always use some scars or war paint as a "distraction". Hoods and funky headgear work too. Honestly I wouldn't even bother with getting one if I was just going for pictures myself. I posted that because it is an all-purpose, and it does cc in 1080i as well as 720p, making it ideal for high-end videos.


The same thing happens with the standing stone crown that you can get from one of the new quests.

An Altmer Mage, siding with the Volkihar, He's currently level 8, and all the important info about him is in my signature. I use a camera also, just a couple hint's? Turn the brightness setting down on the x-box, that will get rid of alot of those lines. I generally hit the menue key instead of "B" to take pic's, that way I can remove the hud and turn the brightness up or down depending on the picture or in-game time of day. Crop the picture, it just ends up looking better. I DO forget to do that sometimes or I miss a corner, so it isn't like I'm not guilty of that. my pic's are by no mean's perfect, but i've had a couple ppl help me out and I DO think they have gotten better.

I'm liking the VL so far, the only thing that bugs me is how you guys( VL ) get to swing the camera round to watch your transformation, as a werewolf the camera is stuck in place ( behind you ) when you change If your looking for something for your head to match the vampire armor, the shrouded hood matches it, ancient nord helm matches, Dawnguard heavy helm, Nightingale hood, TG master hood. All of which matches both the Royal armor and the normal vampire armor


Hows the female VL look ? Was thinking bout starting a new female toon but I'm " on the fence " as to weather or not to make her a werewolf or vampire

LoL nice shot's I really like the last one.... do the DG dog's bark as much as the other in-game dog's? I can't do the dog barking constantly thing, my RL dog's start barking as well... all 4 of them. ( you should see it when I watch NATGeo and wolve's are on howling... OMG)

They do bark just as much when you stop, but not as much when moving / questing. They are much smarter then the vanilla dogs, don't get in the way too often, not up your ass etc...etc... but they don't respawn so I'll leave him outside when I have to enter an area.
Do you mean that your RL dogs bark back at the game dog? That's funny ass [censored] . My dog ( black lab ) is as quite as a mouse, I got her trained as a " alert " dog to let me know when someone's around the house and to warn those who try to break in that there's a dog present. Unless someone knocks at the door or tries to pass through the backyard or I give the " speak " command she never barks. Try making a strange noise next time your dogs act up, something like a loud SHHHH, PIST, this will catch their attention and stop them barking for a second. After a little while of repeating they should catch the drift and learn not to bark. DO NOT yell at them for barking, as far as the dog's concerned when you yell your joining in on the bark fest and it only compounds the matter and they end up misunderstanding why their in trouble.


It caught me off guard, as I said. I was playing around with game camera placement and the second I stopped in that spot he looked right at the camera as if looking at me, so I just HAD to catch that one for a pic.

Thanks for the tips. I have a really good camera so that's why the pictures come out clearer, but those lines do drive me nuts. I'll remember to change the brightness and whatnot next time and see if I can get rid of them. As for my character, thank you, it took me a while to make an Altmer that actually looks really good. I change his hair from time to time as well, but since he's currently a Vamp I cannot do that.

Thanks, yes the TG Master Hood is the one Serana uses with the Royal Vamp Armor, but my character is mostly just pure mage so I don't even use armor unless I'm walking around town for looks or something. I will keep those in mind when I make a different archetype in the future.
