I would've liked to have the chance to enslave the White Legs for the Legion ("help" them, lolwut? They're raiders. Would you help the Fiends?)

The White Legs are willing walking into slavery or what do think Caesar would do to them? In fact even if they win at Zion the Legion still rejects their request for assimilation (and you know what that means) so in the end the Legion does not want the White Legs.

It seems Caesar simply given then the task to destroy the New Canaanites to take revenge on Joshua Graham without having to use the Legion main forces and had no intention of assimilate the White Legs, just like he did with the Great Khans.

I enjoyed this DLC. It was a fun little adventure that let me roleplay my character and get some fun new loot (though Raul is wearing Joshua's armor while I keep my Sierra Madre armor). As I said in another thread, the Survivalist's journal entries alone made it an enjoyable experience.

From the looks of the forums now, i'm the only one that actually enjoyed this DLC. Anyone else?

People dont usually post saing how much they love something. If someone has a problem, you can be damn sure you will hear about it.

Think about it. Would you go back to a store just to praise them for quality products? No. Would you go back to a store to vent your anger when something goes wrong? Most of the time, yes.

I did too. But haters gotta hate. The garbage of the internet will always find a way to surface

The garbage of the internet will always find a way to surface

Those whining about "IT WAS 20 MINUTES LONG!" really really really need to keep their eyes peeled, hell, even if you don't know that you've shot Follows-Chalk you still get 2 or 3 [Failed Quest] so it's obvious something went wrong at that point and that they should have reloaded and tried again instead of continuing on and then complaining on the forum about "them" making a mistake and calling the blame on Obsidian, just like people should have taken it slow during DM and actually look for the radios instead of complaining that they got their heads blown off because "they" failed to adapt to the DLC survival mechanics.

But I wouldn't say that the other complaints are garbage.

I found the plot a bit basic and I miss a twist of some sort. It's also a shame that the White Legs are cartoon-style "ebul" and can't be interacted with.

But!

I like the dlc and find it overall enjoyable.

Yeah, I at least wanted to bring Follows-Chalk home, and have some more side quests like in Point Lookout. It would be cool if you could get more of a story from or perhaps side with the White Legs. I was a bit sad that the drugs didn't give you awesome hallucinations like the punga, although that quest was satisfactorily hard to beat. It'd be nice if you could leave and come back before finishing the main quest, since that warning at the end got me scrambling to find everything before the endgame, so exploring felt more like a chore (I was eager to bring back some cool new stuff for my companions).

Damn I hoped this was about the new Black Coffee item; the greatest item in the entire DLC.

Well all right then. Isn't it nice having a food item that heals immediately, like stimpaks, and increases intelligence, like mentats, but costs virtually nothing to produce and doesn't require 70 science?

Oh yea. I just wish it didnt look like an empty cup. I remember a mod on F3 that added coffee, and the actual item was a cup that appeared full of coffee. I do wish there was a few Yao guai recipes. I had high hopes for making my own yao guai guantlet and cooking bear steaks.

Then again i'm still upset "Mole rat stew" looks like a slab of meat.

Is black coffee addictive?

It should be.

I finished it and thought I'd make another post saying that by the end....I still liked it. I'd give it a 7/10. Not perfect, but very fun. If you like exploring and wandering, it's great. For myself, I got about 9 hours out of the first run thru and that's more than enough for my $10, imo. The new items are fun and useful and I envision myself always adding HH to a new chr's playthru. Some of the Survival stuff actually looked interesting enough for me to consider bumping that up a little sometime, which so far I never have.

I've had about fifty cups and I'm not addicted. Uh... according to the game.

I enjoyed it.

I'll likely do it again over the weekend just for the heck of it.
It was a but short but it is what it is.

I'm having issues with freezes though after coming back for some reason especially around Goodsprings while carrying my .45.
I had seven today.

I ran all of the updates so perhaps my machine is getting a bit shopworn, I dunno.

At any rate, thanks for the fun. :wavey:

I like it very much, you're just seeing the vocal minority shouting at the top of their lungs here.

As usual.

I enjoyed it a lot as well. It was a little short, and I'm still not sure how Joshua Graham went from being a rabid vicious lunatic to a bit of an emo, but overall, very very enjoyable. I give it a 7 out of 10.

I've knocked points off because I got stuck in rocks a few times and had to reload, plus the arseclownery at the start where you can fail everything before you even start, which is just poor planning by Obsid.

I did that in FO3. I couldn't walk past a coffee mug.

BTW, there are over 1,000 coffee mugs dotted around Washington.

Thats a shame. I really wanted to buy coffee to make an infinite supply of mugs.

Also, that is alot of mugs. I dunno how many I have in my collection, I loot everything I see and stash it just in case its used in a DLC later (Did it in F3 to, there was no loot to be had anywhere on my old main)

Anyhow, back to coffee. We need a new plant "Sugar" and craftable creamer. ALSO, ability to make a pot of coffee.
