It still svcks. As nice as the whole 11.11.11 campaign was, it leads to situations like this where a whole lot of customers get annoyed because other people get the game before they do - can experience it, talk about it. Hell, even these damn forums are treating the game like it's launched now, but it isn't for me. Are they deleting gameplay posts from nom-Australians? I think not!

In an age of 'instant communication' it's ludicrous to have staggered (local) launch times. We've known this for years - hell, we do product launches a few times a year, and they are truly global - all at the same instant, regardless of what time it is in a given area. Sure, it means that some people are up early, some up late, but everyone gets the launch at the exact same moment. A simple thing that avoids this kind of 11th hour frustration on the part of what must be a huge percentage of their pre-order base.
The real shame is that it just turns anticipation into frustration. You get people going into the game annoyed, rather than happy.
If they were smart and paying attention, they'd call Steam up and say, "Let 'er rip!".
Question is, are they listening to these forums, or should everyone start tweeting their a**es off?
