Yep. Another timed exclusive. I think people pretty much knew this and wanted it to be false, but its pretty much confirmed now.

Yeah, I was really hoping I'd get to play it before the Easter holidays. But if it isn't out for the PC tomorrow to purchase for full price, then it will have to wait for a Steam sale. There is no way I'm going to pay the same price for the DLC that Xbox players pay a whole month after they get their hands on it. After a month of spoilers, the value of the DLC will be cut in half.

Is there an annual Steam sale between Christmas and Easter?

Wellp, Beth lost a sale at full price. I'll pick it up in some reduced state during a steam sale, thanks. I won't have the money post christmas to waste on it at full price.

To the above poster: Not really, I think there is only the spring sale at Easter, unless Valve do something small for Valentine's Day (Which I doubt, but who knows)

"We’re also happy to announce Dragonborn will be available on PS3 and PC early next year.

Yeah... lucky for us PC users. Hehe... :ermm:

Same here. They don't care, though, because they're getting more money from Microsoft than they'll be losing through this exclusive, much more.

This very much so, the self control required not to get into spoilers is too much for me, personally

A good message for PS3 users, for sure.
Also, I am happy they said something regarding the PC version, but, to be honest, it's [censored].
But okay, I'll wait the 30 days.

Sounds like it might be rather more than 30 days for PC owners if they're planning on releasing PC and PS3 at the same time.

The only way to stop them from doing this "exclusive" release thing in the future is for everyone to refuse to buy it when it is released after the delay -- If users would just not buy it for awhile after it releases they might take notice and stop doing this, but as long as everyone just waits out the delay and then buys it right away the $ incentive offered by MS is too enticing and they'll keep doing it !

Early january... give or take a few days, it matters not.
I am a bit pissed anyways, but okay... just hope it's a good product.
Of course we all saw that coming.

They did NOT say "January 2013", but "early 2013". That could mean anything.

And another timed exclsuvie.

Guess the deal wasn't for two hmm?

Can't say I'm surprised, I knew it would be a timed exclusive since it was first announced, though I was hopping it wasn't.

Thanks for caring about all of your fans Bethseda!

Yes, Fallout 4 DLCs will for sure be XBox exclusive too. Oh well, a good time to go back to New Vegas and get Dragonborn from Steam sale sometime :hehe:

Well I'm really disappointed and as mentioned they said early 2013, with Bethesda you never know what early or soon means when you recall what happened with the CK and even the extended gameplay videos. 'Sigh' I don't have anything else to play this month :(

I don't care if it adds a new freakin' province I'm not buying Dragonborn on PS3 until at least 3 things happen:
1) Both Dawnguard and Hearthfire are released on PS3
2) They are sold below their original price for making me wait at least 3 months longer for both, and
3) I am certain neither will turn my disc into a slideshow (Hi New Vegas and Fallout 3)

Until then, Bethesda can forget about seeing my money.

I guess because Bethesda botched dawnguard and hearthfire so badly, the timed exclusive deal didn't apply to them so now it applies to dragonborn.

And still no set confirmation for dlc for ps3

Another successful troll by Bethesda.

Oh well. I'll just watch some LPs on YouTube tomorrow, and play Morrowind, or New Vegas for the 8th time in the meanwhile.

Ain't purchasing this or any other gamesas product, doesn't mean I won't be playing them though.

Dunno about you, but I read "early next year for PC & PS3" as meaning at the same time.
