Skyrim: Halved in Price in UK Retailers

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 5:01 pm

This is very unnerving if youve got a problem stop trying to justify it.

You're already running around in a panic about a one off discount from a single UK retailer.

This is exactly the type of reaction the OP was trying to provoke.

Note: I paid £39.99 for my copy so far played 50 hours thats less than 80 pence per hour of entertainment at this point, to me that is a great deal.

So if under 2 months from now most bugs are fixed, what will people do? Will they complain that it used to be broken?

If Fallout: NV is anything to go by.

Yes.

200 hour + playing skyrim, cost me 330 HK dollars (roughly under 30 UK pounds), which is a little over 6 hours of entertainment per pound. How many NEW just released movies can you go watch for one UK pound that is 6 hours long?! Sorry! what was your complaint?

Skyrim has been the best value for money game wise for me this year by a long shot. Entertainment wise even more so than many summer blockbuster movies

What are all these bugs that everyone keeps shouting about?

I've been playing every evening and weekend since release day, have never fast travelled anywhere and have switched my character from Warrior to Battlemage to Mage and have not experienced anything I would call a "bug" or "game breaking".

Lol I am not saying there are no bugs but really just because it's less expensive you really going buy a bug fill game ? That says a lot about your complaints about it.

Same happened with Fallout NV, after a month with no fixes for the bugs it had, it also dropped to half price. Its still insulting to charge half price for a broken game, they should just return them to their distributor rather than muddy their own names peddling this broken nonsense.

100k people currently running the game on Steam disagree with you.

Damn. Fortunately all I ever encountered as glitchy/buggy was:

- Low res textures [ xbox ]
- Two freezes.
- One bugged conversation. Needed restart.

So nope, €50,- well spend.
