Do you think we will be able to craft each house in each hold or do you think there will only be enough materials to build only one? If this seems sorta stupid I'm sorry I just kinda got to thinking about it

I think the official page for the DLC mentioned something about buying them all and becoming a real estate tycoon, or words to that effect.

Some more details:
1. The carriage locations include villages such as Dragonbridge, Darkwater Crossing, Ivarstead, Karthwasten, Kynesgrove, etc., places that aren't currently served by carriage.
2. You get a beehive to harvest. Hive looks like the ones at Goldenglow Estate.
3. Shrine room, which has all the shrines.
4. (Probably already mentioned) Trophy room, just like the stuffed trophies at the Castle in Oblivion.
5. Noticed in the fish list, "salmon roe". Not something I've seen before, and it's not in any of the game wikis.
6. New items such as straw, iron fittings, nails, etc, for the house.
7. The two kids in the trailer you can adopt are Lucia (not in the game wikis, must be new) and Gralnach (from Heartwood mill, near Riften).

in oblivion
for battlehorn castle
you have a trophy room as well
but you also have a person in the castle that makes the trophies for you
based on what you pick up from the slain beast etc
so i assume that would be similar

This DLC is perfect for me.
Only one thing I fear is that there won't be different architecture styles to build.
Also I wish there was a house to build in the Reach , but well , Mods.

Ditto! There's way too much useless speculation out there about what's in HF, and this is very helpful in sorting things out. So, many kudos to you, Muktor!

I agree wholeheartedly. I hope the houses can be unique. And the Reach would have been a sweet place for a dragonborn estate.

any ideas on the cost of the plots and the materials?
i know what each existing house costs
so i would need to make money in a hurry
just to buy the plots etc

ps i am referring to ingame costs
not the price of the dlc

I really hope to get a Dwemer Centurion trophy in my house. It might be kind of big, but that would be awesome.

That would be sweet, and the head of Alduin above the front door...

Oh, man. I about wet myself from excitement, looking at those screenshots, and I'm going to have a difficult time waiting until Tuesday, heh. The place looks more like a home than the houses you can buy!

I think I'm gonna fall in love with Skyrim all over again. :tes:

We can't create a real estate tycoon if we own only 3 houses we make. I thought we would be able to make fort houses...

The Hearthfire page indicated three locations, but it didn't quite say how many buildings we can make upon those lands. I believe it said that we could purchase add-on plots, which would seem to indicate larger/more abodes, but that's all we know as far as being "real-estate tycoons".

We simply do not know enough at the present time to make any educated guesses on the exact composition of the abodes. I suggest you rely on what's been released officially rather than fan speculation - that way, you may even be surprised when it arrives on Tuesday! :)

You can give adopted children pets, according to the DLC's website.

From: http://gamesas.com/en-us/games/hearthfire
? Adoption – Transform your house into a home with Hearthfire’s all-new adoption system. Adopt children and discover new ways to interact with your family. Play games with the kids, allow them to have pets and gain new bonuses from having a family.
