Then how about Skyrim: The Animated Series? :biggrin:

I'd say it is a better... thing... but I rather just keep it games and books in the ES series. Maybe the occasional short animation :shrug:

What would be awesome is if they tried to make it so every playable race and class was represented as the Dovahkiin.

Nord male Dovahkiin enters Dragonsreach.

DB: Helgen was destroyed by a dragon!
Balgruuf: This is terrible! We must go off to tell my wizard.

Balgruuf and the Dovahkiin, now a female Khajiit leave the throne room.

The two enter Secret-Fire's room. The Dovahkiin is now a Dunmer.

Balgruuf: The dragons have returned.
Secret-Fire: Really?
Argonian DB: Yes. I was there.

lol Critics would rip that apart though...you know how much people hate movies that are hard to follow.

Or something for the core fans that'll lead into TESVI like the Great War before Skyrim and all that jazz. For sure, I'd 20 bucks pay for it.

I guess most people here tend to believe that Skyrim wouldnt be a great thing as a movie then lol...

Well the only movie i see that has a good ingredient as example, for a good Skyrim movie is "Conan the Barbarian" (with arnold schwarzenegger)
everyone here knows it for sure lol.

These movies relate alot to me, in skyrim game, with the paganism religion presence, the medieval time, etc.

horrible idea, look at WoW trying to make a movie

directors change non stop and it cost billions of dollars

worst part is not enough fan base for TES to invest, not enough people no the lore or care

To be fair I think this idea does not get enough credit. If any comic book/graphic novel (300...Road to Perdition) can be brought to the large screen there is no reason ES/Skyrim couldnt if done w/ the right people. Backstory is backstory and it doesn't matter what medium it came from. What matters is how it's treated, the chars and the storyline.

There's mountains of backstory and and other chars in the LOTR world in "The Hobbit" and The Silmarillion, but they were left out of the first trilogy.
If Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Ironman can all be done, so could ES/Skyrim.

A different title could do a lot. Ummm....Dragon Wars......The Lord of the Voice (yes...I'm joking)
