I actually had to delete an old friend from facebook, because he commented on one of my Skyrim posts saying 11-11-11 adds to 666 so the game is the devils work. Then had a long rant about something Christian. Now myself, I have no religion, but I hold no grudges against it. Views like the ones (although satire) in that article are the minority, there are plenty of Christians playing Skyrim.

Anybody that thinks that is serious and a Christian was stupid enough to write it needs to slap themselves in the face.

There are Christians stupid enough to write articles like that one (also Buddhists, Muslims and basically any other religion out there.They all have their moronic zealots) . JRemember the DnD and pokemon scares from the last few years? Theres even a great vid on youtube of this Preacher in a Church talking about the evils of the "Poke-mans" heh. This article is clearly a joke though.

I love watching people with barely any sense of humor try to decide what's satire or not. Especially when they try to put their questions into words. Some of the best examples are when people denigrate satire as stupid, or feel the need to say it's "not funny".

Myself being a Christian who has played TES since Daggerfall I find the article very offensive and just trying to give Christians a bad name.

If you can't separate fantasy from reality, as the idiot writing the article obviously can't, than quite a bit of help is needed for him/her.

I don't think they're trying to make all Christians look stupid, just that very tiny minority - like that "church" who go around picketing funerals. Any other Christian knows this is so far removed from what they stand for and believe in that I don't think they should be offended by it.

I know, but that is obviously a troll article, because it goes WAY over the top.

Then there are things like 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic may be Satanic' (which, despite my avatar, it is not) or 'Minecraft is Satanic'. Which are just the really stupid Christians being stupid enough to think they're special and need to scream all their [censored] as loud as they can. The same can be true of any group. There are always the incredibly vocal, incredibly stupid minority.
