Skyrim roleplayers get special treatment!?

The reason why this can be connected to RPing is pretty simple. As I RP I stop on long treks to eat, I sleep some hours almost every day and so forth. I would do this even if no bonuses were given for doing so, as it is what a real person would do. Like OP said, this isn't only for role-players but its a huge bonus for us who do as we now actually get something in return for doing the "everyday thing"

Exactly!!!!!!

Anybody gonna have a daily routine??

Im gonna make potions at night.
Throw on my sleep wear n go to bed about 12.
Will wake up about 6 am
Recieve my well rested [experience bonus]
Then cook in the morning.
No need to cook alot cooked food last a really long time!!
No need to clog up my inventory.

Then sharpen my weapon my blade and head out :)

And get rewarded for all of it!!!!!!!

That sounds fun.I will try after I get a home.

mh Sleeping = exp bonus? :D That's strange because there are no Experience point in TES.

Maybe you mean Sleeping = Faster Skill Increase?

Well-rested isnt an experience bonus, as there is no experience in the game.

Previous previews said that it increased health and magicka and stamina for the duration, but I suppose the specifics dont matter much. A bonus is a bonus. Maybe it also helps with skill growth and we've just not been told yet.

But for those who don't understand.................
Well um there are ummmm dragons! in the game :P lol

I agree i wish we would get even more special treatment for going on carriage rides and walking and such but then wat bethesdas is doing would be to obvious :P

I am really proud of bethesda for doing this.

He said after he gets a home, not when he gets home. So if you take him literally then he is saying that he is a hobo right now.

More likely he means once he bought a home ingame, which he won't be able to do until he has the game.

Im not looking at the bonuses by thierself..

Im looking at the bonuses combined!!

Im roleplaying zelda like character.

A wood elf female great wit a bow and magic..

Or myrle from chrono trigger..

Gonna try to come up wit my own background story..

Perhaps a descendant of the legendary black arrow????

But anyway imagine how beast i will be having all these bonuses going on at the same time!

For something i was gonna do anyway :)

Actually, for me its anti-roleplaying. I don't want any stupid bonuses from playing what I feel immersive! It will actually take some immersion out. I will probably mod it our Rp-sake, but I dont care so much either way.

Why? How does getting a bonus from doing roleplaying stuff break immersion? It just gives you some benefits for doing roleplaying stuff instead of just doing it for the sake of roleplaying.

Since I role-play, I want my character to get only a decent amount of exp per day, I don't want to level too fast - I want it to feel natural and slow... Now it won't happen since sleeping = exp.
I want to eat, because I like to manage my resource (I also drop every food I have after a few days because its getting "rotten"). I don't feel like it should get me more powerful, I only want the lesser powers my character should have.

You can see where I am going with it right? I can say the same about every other bonuse they inserted into RPing

You don't want to get a good night sleep and wake up rell rested and capable of accomplishing more faster than sum1 who didn't sleep???

You don't wanna sit down and sharpen yo weapons and they will be more effective than sum1 who doesnt??

You don't want to cook and eat and have more energy that sum1 who hasn't????

NO, I don't role-play for bonuses and I don't care about them either. I don't see how being more powerful has anything to do with role-playing. For me its more Role-play when my character powers are realistic and natural rather than boosted up by things that should not boost it up. But I don't want to over-react since I don't care that much, I will live with the bonuses... Maybe except the sleeping bonus which I HATE! I dont want more exp wtf. I want to level only when its time to level not earlier ><

I like the rotten idea thats why i will only cook wat i need..
But difference of opinion o suppose..

I'm doing these things anyway and if bethesda believes i should be better than the ppl who don't and it actually makes since i just can't find anything wrong wit..

It would be easier to understand if u was against roleplaying....

Ah well so as a roleplayer u think this is a step in the wrong direction :(

I guess that makes sense. I myself don't mind leveling up faster or being more powerful than normal though.

Yes, exactly.

Also try not to post 3 times in a row and instead just "Edit" your last post. The mods will appreciate it :)
