Why bother with a street date if no one is going to abide by it.

They are selling it, PC, Xbox and PS3 versions though it still won't be unlocked on Steam till after midnight tonight...but the console people have no restrictions to play.

Other gaming stores are following suite...street date definately broken here.

JB hifi called and said the embarkment hold has been broken for elders scroll and I can pick mine up tonight. Might be worth mentioning that to your retailers to get the game that little bit sooner

I pre-ordered through Games Market and they are usually pretty good at getting the game to you on time. My pre-order status has been "1 item of The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Pre-Order PC, (Ready To Ship) as of 9 Nov 2011" since yesterday morning and is still there right now. That means I won't see it until at least Monday. Not happy Jan. Last time I use Games Market, I think I'll just stick with Play Asia.

EB Games ALWAYS break street dates, on every big game. When I was a competitor to them they always claimed that someone else broke first, yet we could never find a local store that had. Maybe a store in Cairns broke, so to them, that means the whole country. We were threatened with suspension of our account if we broke street dates.

Got mine on PS3, waiting for it to install. It's taking too long! The journal that comes with the Limited Edition is gorgeous, though.

EDIT: I'm about to start playing! And the load time after installing to HD was like 15 seconds, sweet.
