What do the unofficial skyrim patches consist of?

You see i'm trying to play a version of skyrim that doesn't have silly features like a portal gun.

I just want to make the world more beautiful than what it currently is. I see lush vegitation mods, star nebula mods, water enhancement mods, fog effect mods, etc that really change the look and feel of skyrim. That's really what I want. I don't want to make the graphics look better or sharper, i just want to add more "feel" to the world.

No, it doesn't add a portal gun, but more importantly, it doesn't add Justin Beiber taking ballet dancing from Woody Allen--although, there might be a fix for Beiber somewhere in there:)

A gaming PC capable of running Skyrim smoothly on default "High" settings or greater, will run you about $600-$700 USD, including an OEM copy of Windows.

I built my PC in 2009, it cost just a couple dollars under $600, with all parts purchased on Newegg. I didn't need peripherals (screen, keyboard, mouse, speakers) and already have a copy of Windows.

Runs the preset "High" (with certain sliders like Object fade set to max manually) at 40+ FPS normally (1680 x 1050), hovers above 30 in very busy cities. *shrug* A gaming PC doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg, but it will if you demand the latest and greatest. One of the best resources for finding mods is http://skyrimgems.com/ With that you should be able to find all of the major mods you need to get started in an extremely easy to navigate format.

I paid a fair amount for my PC then had a AMD HD graphics card installed but it was worth it. You can get a descent PC that willl run Skyrim for the cost of 2 ps3's. Maybe not on the high and certainly not on ultra but low to medium settings.
