We saw Falmer in the trailer so I'm pretty sure that would indicate involvement from the Snow Elf Prince. But how does that tie in with Dawnguard vs Elite Vampire Clan? I am really interested to see how this ties together. I think it might be just a decent length side quest. What about you?

Would want to see more then a side quest for the snow prince but if hes just a falmer that talks then OFF WITH HIS HEAD!

I'm guessing he's a boss in one of the quests or a character in a side quest. Considering that the environment the Vampire Castle is in (a frozen environment) and many areas in the northern regions have Falmer...

I would want an entire expansion pack just for the Snow Elf and his quest. They sneak it into this vampire thing I am not going to be too happy.

Dawnguard is still based in Skyrim, so I am not jumping to any conclusions just yet if someone happened to see some Falmer in the trailer, anyone sees anything that looks like a Snow Elf Prince I want to know about it straight away. Other than that I had a quick look at the trailer and that was enough, I want the DLC to be a surprise if that is at all possible.

Anyway, if the Snow Prince is indeed involved, then I'm betting it's like a fun little side quest due to the files being in the 1.5 patch.

my guess is he is a vampire considering that he was around when ysgramor lead the first 500. oh and he did have a spear so put two and two together and you get spears and snow elves mabey in future dlc.

I'm pretty sure the Snow elf prince is a third option to side with. Or possibly he wants you to side with whichever side to achieve some greater goal of his. I remember seeing something about a Snow elf prince ascension animation in one of the old dawnguard threads so its got to be something big.

i heard its not going to happen , but there was snow elf dialogue in the leak so i guess we will see.

I hope the dlc is much bigger than we expect as well, because I agree with aussie500, if they sneak the snow elves into their vampire plotline, I'm not going to be happy. The vampire content looks pretty decent so far and I actually find myself looking forward to it, but I'm a huge fan of the Falmer, and have been ever since Bloodmoon, so I hope to see Bethesda doing them justice. The absolutely last ting I want or need are vampire Falmer.

There is so much Bethesda could do with the snow elves after all the hints they dropped. Making the Snow Elf Prince a vampire now, after the thieves guild quest line, the Falmer study book, and our countless ingame encounters, would probably cause me to burst out laughing. I'd laugh because of how incredibly stupid the idea is, and then I'd cry, because it'd prove once and for all, that Bethesda can't come up with a single decent storyline anymore. A vampire Snow Elf Prince is something you might find in fanfiction, written by a 12 year old with bad spelling and grammar, because she thinks it ain't cool unless it's a vampire. I understand that vampires are popular, but for heavens sake, that doesn't mean everyone and everything has to be one now.

I'd be fine with it if the Falmer are a third option as DanielMitchell suggests. They wouldn't be in the spotlight and we probably wouldn't find out much, but at least they wouldn't be vampires.

Vampires survive a remarkably long time, The Snow Elf Prince could be part of the Vampire clan. I mean it's doubtful but I'd still consider it an option, just like we considered count hassildor an option

but what i don't get is the snow prince is dead but there are animations for him, mabey they put him in sorta like they did with the dragonrend shout.

The files say Snow Elf Prince, the character we are talking about however was simply called the Snow Prince, so perhaps it's someone else. Prince is a title, and I kind of doubt that it was his real name. Maybe all male Falmer leader are called prince.

The Snow Prince was killed. Read the book about him. The one mentioned is either a new one or is just the old one seen by using an Elder Scroll to go back into time to see the Snow elves how they were before they were Falmer.

Is the snow prince reference in the DLC01 folder or somewhere else? Probably part of Bethesda Studios are already working on the second DLC. That placeholder might be inserted there for future references...

I'm guessing that the Snow Elf Prince is a vampire, which would explain why he's still alive for all those years after the war with Ysgramor.

I hope that the Snow Prince will be the main charcter of an long side quests, same as in Bloodmoon, Werewolf/Hircine - mainquest, build up Ravenrock/Stalhrim - long side quest. So for Dawnguard, Dawnguard/Vampire - mainquest, Snow Prince/Falmer - long side quest.

All of these files seem to belong to the same scene and the files ending in a,b,c,d,e look like they are different dialogue options to me.

Damn, I just noticed that does say DLC 01.

I was so hoping the Snow Elf Prince and Falmer would get their own DLC.

looks to like the voliker(probably bad spelling here) might have resurected the snow prince as a puppet to get the falmor to be slaves and a food source for the vampires, then if you take the side of dawnguard then you would probably kill his master and just like the the reanimated dead turn to ash.
think that this is plausible or no?

I am not sure what to expect with the Snow Elf, I hope the quest line for this DLC whether is has the Snow Elf in or not is bigger then the guild quest lines for the vanilla game.

I also hope the vampire stuff is just the start and the main quest for the DLC evolves around the Snow Elf.

Hopefully it will be a lengthy expansion whatever the extent of it may be... I just need something new to explore.

The last known snow elf prince died before they came the twisted little things they are now... He was also a formidable warrior who killed some of Ysgramor's strongest warriors.. WITH HIS SPEAR!!.. The nords did bury him instead of burning him like the rest of their enemies because of the respect they had for his skill, so he could of become a vampire, and certainly had the skill to become a high ranking one.. OR A LORD!!!

The player drives an axe in its head during the more kinetic part of the trailer. I guess you could confuse it with a vampire or a gargoyle.
