tottaly agreed with last posts, but i didnt mation masive slaughter, thats too extrime and cruel even for games, read it better

i must gat back to explosions, and im done...

There is no fun if you cant trigger big explosions and cose that "nuclear winter" thing

...and what is that ...i have no idea, but game cud evolve to new unknown waters, never seen before in FO (but save it for future lol)

They never actually meant a real, "nuclear winter."
They only wanted it to be colder... not full of bombs.
Also, for future typing.... please, get better grammar. Your jumbled up words and letters make it almost impossible for anyone to read.

Uh... before we get too far along the English Nanny route, it might behoove us to remember that there are tons of folks on these fora for whom English is a second (or third or fourth) language. i would only wish that I could speak their languages half as well as they speak ours.

Yep...let's not go after non-English speakers for their grammar. However, it doesn't help to abbreviate words either. Drives me crazy enough when native English speakers do it.

Calling down a orbital laser strike isn't enough?

The game could go in new directions. Bethesda mentioned other locations and the androids were one possible plot bunny hopping around. Only the devs know where they may be headed.

Fallout was never about the graphics-in my opinion maybe if you ever play one of the 4 games that preceded Fallout 3 you'll get a feel for this.

Sorry, had to do it, while I agree graphics don't make the story, they go a hell of a long way towards it, I tried FO2, guess what put me off? and of course the turn based combat, now before you start thinking I'm some kid, I'm 50 years old with gaming experience all the way back to the ZX81, I'll take todays graphics thanks B)

In my eyes Caesar is a selfish, murderous bastard. And the factions were supposed to be shades of gray, though it ended up with Caesar being a darker shade and NCR the lighter shade, and the game pushes you to help the NCR and despise Caesar... which I do and did.

Dude the NCR are just as dark a shade of gray. Its just a different dark shade of gray.

The NCR, and the Legion are opposite sides of a coin thats true. However it is still the same coin...
Major... I mean major spoilers in the spoiler tab. MAJOR I SAID... I warned yah...

The NCR grunts are decent folk trying to better the world around them... However their leaders are dikes.

1. They want you to kill all the BoS for fear they might be a bother later on.
2. They have you straight up murder Mr House. They say incase he helps the Legion later on, but they have zero proof. All they want is the Strip.
3. They take over Goodspring, and force taxes, and evict folk.
4. They attack Novac. I mean WTH that came out of the bloody blue.
5. Bittersprings... No matter if it was miscommunication or not the snipers looking down thier scopes could tell it was females and childern.
6. The unprovoked ambush at Helios One. (although they may have already been at war with the Brotherhood... Not really sure at that one)
7. The withholding of supplies at Freeside.

Trust me the NCR has there fair share of gray.
By the time I finished the game I was feeling rather dirty as an NCR devoted fan :sadvaultboy:

I am wondering if you got the whole story about bitter springs and the penalty for disobeying a direct order, yeah the NCR are not exactly the good guys, but neither do they enslave people and work them till they drop, I agree with the other guy, the grey areas are not so grey, more like black and dirty white.

You forgot turnbased combat, and wholly statdriven gameplay.

The devs at obsidian who worked on Fallout 1 & 2 themselves stated that they don't think a fallout game needs turnbased combat, and that it's more about the post apocalyptic society. So I wouldn't count turn based combat as a fallout icon.
