El Stormo's Game Quiz, Year 3 day 7

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 11:47 am

though it's too early in the game for him to relax just yet!
How many rounds are there?
A perfect 10 has been scored. One more and it's a pure hat trick, sjvan0!
This isn't going to end in the two of us having a videogame style rooftop duel to the death, is it?

Finally, a round where I think I did well. Probably means this was incredibly easy and everyone else will get a perfect score.
It's not skull-crushingly hard, but some are give-aways and others are difficult :)

How many rounds are there?
10 in total, so unless you stumble, you'll probably take the flag!

If it does, I demand you record it and post it!

Only 3 more rounds to crush Teehee and Troyatz then! Hopefully they'll be at least a couple more picture/written answer rounds, because I am horrible when it comes to these music rounds.

It'll need to be in neutral territory, though. Say, atop the http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3b/Sealand-sky.jpg?

Crushing Troyatz won't be too hard, but Teehee's managed a very respectable score this round!

If I saw that, I would call the police. Then jump out of one of the windows. From that day forward, I would ride a little tricycle to work, sobbing uncontrollably as I recalled that horrible memory.

Funny, I have the exact same effect on small children.

Didn't do too badly in that round at all. :) Hopefully it's at least enough to keep me in the top ten.

I was going to say "me too", but Stormy will learn from it and make next year's quiz even more evil! So let's be quiet and hope he doesn't notice...

I have a confession to make......

I've never played Half-Life 2. Or even Half-Life. I intend to eventually, but up until recently I have been a console-only gamer.

I said weapon and still failed. Apparently the answer is "first weapon" but I know from my experience this is wrong for New Vegas and Skyrim as I didn't get my first weapon from those characters. The wonders of non-linear gameplay... :shifty:

That's what got me too. The first weapon that its possible to get is that laser pistol in the Docs house, and if you don't get that he'll give you one before you leave, as well as letting you keep the pistol. And the Stormcloak guy just tells you to pick up a weapon off of a corpse.

HL2 was released on PS2 so now you have no excuse.

Go buy and play them all! They go on sale on Steam all the time. The original HL is, to this day, one of my all time favourite games. I was playing it recently and it still holds up well.
