I kind of want to pick up a copy, myself... I just don't know if I want to spend that much on game-related stuff... All at once!

Elder Scrolls strategy guides have always been excellent reads, and its something to read while you're not playing Skyrim :P

It will be more accessible than a computer.

You are a shallow, inconsiderate being. Many of us will, but still would like to have a "backup".

Wiki is a great backup and its free. People says it's not reliable but its never been inaccurate for me.

Edit: if your playing on pc I might see your point.

Amen, brother.

As to the OP. How can I value it for you? It is your money. If you have it burning holes in your pockets,
it might be worth it. Hell I dunno.

Is it worth it to me? Nope. See above. i'd rather stumble my way thru the darkness and have revelations
dawn upon me during the course of exploration and 'adventure'.

I do have money to burn and still won't buy one, that is jut me though. I'd rather spend the money on
a good bottle bourbon.

Here's to yah!

Groan... did you even read the first sentence? It wasn't a long post.

Let me explain.

I have two computers in my house. A desktop and a laptop. The desktop computer is my brother's, who is on it most of the time. The laptop is my mother's, which I use while she's at work. I use my brother's when he's sleeping.

But often, they're both home, awake, and using their owned computers. What does a girl do? Get a manual.

Well, I can't lift more than 50 lbs, or so... But I'm not really into weight-lifting.

IMHO, I find game guides for console gaming to be more efficient as I can just grab the book & flip to the page instead of having to log onto my computer, search for the information, and sift through web pages that may or may not be cluttered with ads (which in the case of an RPG, may break immersion).

I'm getting mine for sure since I got skyrim cheap.Gave 2 games worth 10 dollars months ago to my gamestop and they gave me 50$ credit toward skyrim. So technically speaking I'm only paying 20 dollars for my copy so I'l get the guide to be more fair.

It goes like this. Get a manual ruin the experience of the game instead of finding things out for yourself. Thats what you really want? Maybe after I beat the game a couple times I might then look up something but I can't see how people are getting it during their first playthrough. :homestar:

Collectors Edition. For some reason there's a large segment of people that don't know what a "collector" is...

And having the strat guide is a + for anyone smart enough to know that information is power.
Of course its up to you to choose to be as powerful and informed as the rest of us... ; )

Who says it ruins MY experience? You're generalizing. Just because it ruins yours, doesn't mean it has that effect on the rest of us.
Getting really tired of the generalization on this forum.

This!! Total generalization on the part of some of these people. And calling people "weak" is laughable and childish!

I didn't say YOUR experience. I'm saying the game would have much more immersion without a spoiler book. Which is my opinion.
