We have lots of garbage in the US that they can have. Free of charge, we'll even ship it!

She used to make it wrapped in lefse, but I never had the courage to try it. As I said, the smell was incredible. The same went for her gammalost. Her fattigmann was a big family favorite, however.

Sweden's running low on garbage....! It's time to fill your garbage cans, fill them like you care, don't just fill your trashcans and take it in a landfill. Donate that trash to Sweden...do it for Sweden do it for Mother Earth.

Lefse is pretty nice; In fact, I have some in my kitchen right now. Lutefisk can't possibly be as bad as it smells, so give it a try sometime too!

Also, it's fun to hear that you're familiar with some Norwegian cuisine, since I take it you're not from these parts yourself, judging from the way you speak of the food. I apologize if I'm wrong and jumping to conclusions.

How does this effect the atmosphere?

I get space is the main driving factor in burning garbage, but my point is Japan has developed the tech needed to make sure they aren't polluting the air and water.

Canada and America are large but we can't just dump our waste into pitts forever and driving way out into the middle of nowhere doesn't make much economic sense.

I also get that it might not produce much power but hey every little bit helps, so long as it doesn't cost billions and only produces 2% of power generation like Wind does for Ontario. The report said it produces 20% of Sweden's power, that is pretty good.

Where I live the number one reason against it is always "it will pollute everything, we will all die!" If that was the case alot of people in Japan, Sweden and else where would be dead.

Sweden doesn't strike me as a country that would do anything that would cause pollution.
