I'll be taking about a two week break from Crysis 2. Don't get me wrong: Crysis 2 is my favorite game. I just don't want to over-play it and then get bored with it in a week. Is anybody else doing this? Or have I been on too much stuff and I need to play Crysis?

Yeah I'm taking a break. The game is beautiful, but the multiplayer connection is ruining it. It rocks when you are the host, but the rest of the time the lag ruins it. The honeymoon phase is over for me. Its been shelved. I will probably keep an eye on forum and wait til they have done some major patching then try again. The only bad thing is the trade in value will go down. I probably should get sealed copy from EA to get refund. I have no problem buying the game again.

All I play is the single player as I have had nothing bad lag issues from day one. When you warp and get knifed in the face out of no where....that is no fun at all. I'll be waiting on a major patch as well but will try time to time when I am bored or something

Yup,I'm done for a bit with it too,but my main issue with it now is the single player.

I can't get past the first section of Central Park without it totally glitching up on me,and I've just had enough of this BS!

I've cleared out that open area,which isn't very easy for me and takes a little bit of time,but after I get past that I have fallen through the map,gotten stuck between a rock and a trailer, and fell off the edge a few times,only to restart and go through that same thing again,and I've had enough!

I went online yesterday and became so frustrated with the lag that I just turned it off. I wont continue with the campaign because I just hear of the many glitches.it has and if I run into one, lord knows I will burn my house down from the rage

I've been behind this game as well,but I think I'm going to put time into the MP only when I need a break from MAG.As for the SP,the thing that pisses me off the most is that I've had only one minor glitch thus far,but now that I'm at the end of the game,I can't go on because the glitches keep holding me back.Something like that make a person not want to play the game at all anymore.

Me too man. I took break cuz of the lag I keep getting probably because of the matchmaking that makes me plays with players with the same country as my PSN account.. Which is not really my country.
Then I decided to play some CoD again and noticed that I've been getting better connections unlike in Crysis 2 where I kept getting 1 bar sadly.
I also noticed that my KDR's in each game I play of MW2 or Black Ops went lower than how I kept it before. This was probably because I got used to staying out in the open with armor mode and cloak mode. Oh well time to get used to Cod until they patch C2 up..

I feel the same way, I'm trying to unlock the scarab in mp but everytime I last for 3-4 rounds,turn it off & want to sell it. I like the game a lot & it has so much potential but at the same time it has so many errors that need fixed,can't believe they released it like this. I get open connections on router & all games but can never get past moderate on this game. I'm almost ready to put it ebay for $50/free shipping/buy it now. If thry start to sell dlc before its fixed I will sell right away

yeah add me to the list. between the SP nano catalyst glitch and the MP lag, its just ridiculous.

Same here, taking a long break from the MP. It's strange though, I haven't encountered any bugs in SP and I've played through it twice. Only bug I've had is the Nano Catalyst but only when I replay a mission.

Sometimes it will reset back to 0 or it will give me a negative, weird. Had the same problem on the pc version. Luckily I already got my fav module upgrades anyway.

Give the SP a go on Superhuman, it's actually a lot of fun!

yeah i just started superhuman, to -28,000 nc. so kinda turned off.

amazingly, i just got full green bars for a couple of matches. **** is straight up god mode. finally won an instant action, as well as a draw and a few second places.

Know how you feel, I'm no stranger to FPS games and I'm getting owned so bad. I also got full green the other day and I kicked ass. So annoying that at the moment, skill doesn't mean anything, all about you connection.

I'm going back to Resistance and Killzone until Crysis 2 is fixed.

I am doing this myself. Playing Dead Rising 2 for now.

Gave up on the multiplayer the other day. I don't think I ever shouted at my poor tv as much as with this game.
I am playin the sp again on super soldier and even after the patch the AI is still poor. I will finish this once more and then it'll be puttin it away.

If the lag improves (a lot) I might go back to it but I doubt that goin to happen. My mate and I both agree that the beta played great and had much less lag. What went wrong? Killzone 2 looks better and I hardly experience any lag even with max players. I have yet to play k3 but that is due to my cheap ass friends getting a lend for 2 weeks and my bro for 2 weeks before that. SP in that was great, sat down on friday with it and bulletstorm and stagard upstairs sunday when both finished.

Yes until a REAL patch ,options, DLC and new mpas are available - gone back to playing BFBC2, socom 4 and crysis 1 - waiting on Brink and the beast thatll be BF3

Add me to that group. I think the game is mostly great, but the lag and host advantage are just too annoying to deal with right now.

Everyone should take a note from this guy. Considering this is the PS section of Crysis 2, this works perfectly

Add me to the list. What a failure this game turned out to be. I'm kicking myself for not waiting or at least renting first. The $60 isn't a big deal to me, but just the thought of giving these guys retail price for this game just makes me sick. How on Earth can a game be released in this shape? The MP is beyond frustrating for me, and I can't make myself play more than 20min into the SP. The AI is just way too rediculous in many many ways. I guess it's not the game for me, but I will try the SP again someday. Back to BFBC2 for me....for now, until I hear about a patch.

CRYTEK deserves all the hate and disrespect that they are receiving on this forum in my opinion. You simply can't charge full price for a game that's 60-70% (being generous) complete. Put out the world's worst patch in a week (a little sarcastic but still valid), and expect to keep the players. Console players will move on..or back to..the next best thing in a blink of an eye.

But hey...enjoy it if you can! I just hope developers will soon get the picture to not relying on patches to make their game successful.

Just hope you dont get your posts deleted too because you arent going along with the herd and saying "this game is crap but i still love crytek for making me spending my money on what was suposed to be a game"
