Tatterdemalion: The Lunar Province of Secunda

Contrary to what you might think, knowing that there's a picture of their ship and that its author (who ain't MK, btw) is probably going to post it doesn't make me an oracle of unknown knowledge. There are no vehkship or sunbird pictures that I know of, and I've got no idea about Nerevar (my guess is "no").

I'll try and respond to the rest later.

I know this is off-topic but I want to know what DID happen to Nerevar, I know its been brought up ad nausium but I don't remember what was said beyond "he went to Akavar: which most people on here claim is lies.

The official version is that the Nerevarine is rumored to have gone to Akavir. What actually happened to him will never be revealed, and is up to you, since the Nerevarine was your character.

Nerevar never existed. There was no Nerevarine.

Well knowledge of things to come I mean. Take the majority of the people on this forum. Most of them don't know about what MK (or whoever) is going to post next and when. You do, at least to some degree, so I call that knowledge. Information is a better term I guess. Why aren't you a mod on here by the way?

Also MK needs to design an engine fueled by violence. You can get anywhere with violence, even heaven; especially heaven.

In general, being a lore forumite isn't a good way to become a mod. It's not a problem area in the forum, and doesn't see a very large volume of traffic. Being highly active in the general/cheats/hardware&software section for a game or games, especially if it's a newly added section, is a better way to get the job.

Similarly, peeps who have migrated to the community discussion section and don't come back out probably won't get a mod job either.

Who knew forum moderation was so political? Well... I didn't know at least. Is it some sort of contractual job for gamesas?

Ah, but can a price truly be put on the ability to virtually subjugate your fellow man?

That's me happening to be at the right place at the right time. I didn't know about it until he posted the first text, and after that lots of other people knew too.

I'm not active enough in the right sections. I'm also probably too opinionated for my own good. I like to think that I help out in an unofficial capacity.

Aye. I'm nonetheless impressed that you figured out it was all from the 2nd PGE. I don't think I would have made that connection :pinch:

But now the TES is Intergalactic! :intergalactic:

I must say, the PGE 2nd Edition is extremely interesting for what it is.

Now tell us the story of when Cyrus went to the moon! :twirl:

He used your concept art. Did you draw that for him?

By the way, I love the Mananaut art.

For the project. And thanks (though I don't think he's a mananaut)

Sweet.

The more I think about it, the more I think that late First Era or early Second Era Tamriel would be a very interesting setting for a TES game.

So this was in the first Era. Delicious id like to go to the moon, from what i heard its made out of Mammoth Cheese!

Well that was one interresting read, once more something i didnt quite expect. Jeez i know alot of Game lores and im trying to absorb as much of the TES lore as i can but the fact that this doesnt come off as a suprise to quite a few people here just makes me think i was missing out on quite a bit of information here and there.

Now thats one beautifull Spaceship, i love it.

I do not quite understand the full meaning of Moths in Cyrodiil culture but this certainly makes me want to know more.
Also about the moon. And sphess.
Its quite interresting how the Ramp looks very simmilar to those of the Silt Striders. Probably this "ship" was inspired by their insect nature?

Beautiful Mothship. Perhaps an ancestor... aggregate? Ala Dwemer put together to form the Numidium?

Also, now to give it some thought, it makes no sense that some few people can reach Aetherius, and many have reached the Oblivion realms, but no effort has been made to colonize/utilize Secunda and Massar, except a brief foray by Vehk and Nerevar. This fills in the blanks rather nicely.

Tatterdemalion: The Lunar Province of Secunda

Imperial subjugation of the lunar territories began as early Reman the First. His failed conquest of the Underworld (and its terrestrial consequences) ended in the loss of his mid-wife wives, and the only anodyne to his grief was a reckless void-eyed hubris. In 1E2757, he circumvented the bureaucracy of his own throne, including all county courtships and trans-provincial authorities, to make plans to colonize Tamriel’s twin moons. He commissioned the nachronachs of the Immaterial Harmonics Institute of Incongruitech and Extrinsic Travels to begin work on the first genegineered Megalomoth vessel-fortresses, “to reclaim all extramundic holdings and grant lands from the maddening nighttime tatters of Shezzar’s proof of Man’s provenance”.

Failed conquest of the Underworld? I keep hearing about this "Underworld." Is it Sovngarde?
