It will either be placed in Skyrim or in another province that hasn't been used and is habitable by every race.

Definitely won't be Skyrim again. Not Bethesda's M.O.

There's simply no way we're going back to Skyrim. The entire province was completely and totally covered in ES5. There's nothing new to see.

All the unplayed provinces are fair game. I don't think there will be any obstacles to choosing any race the player prefers, though the experience of the PC in a particular province will undoubtedly be affected by choice of race.

The only wierd twist I can envision at the moment concerns property ownership in Summerset. It would not surprise me if non-Altmer had certain limitations imposed on them regarding property rights.

Are you thinking of the bandit god Baan Dar? If so I wouldn't mind seeing a character seen as Baan Dar but there is enough evidence to discard that idea like they did with the Nerevarine in Morrowind. It would also work because it's questioned if Baan Dar is even a god and not just a way of life for Khajiit.

Speaking of bandit god, that brings an idea to my head. Bethesda should make a faction that is entirely your character building up a bandit clan and either acting as a band of honorable thieves (who still want to steal from anyone, I don't want garbage "We're robin hood!" crap again like we got in Oblivion) or cut-throat bandits. Could be a good alternative to the Thieves Guild.

I did not realize that about the Nerevarine (obviously ha ha). This makes me excited for what they will dream up for future installments. I thought they adhered to the universe more rigorously and were just sort of going through the options (so to speak).

I feel like I'll get drawn and quartered for suggesting this, but is a multi-province game completely out of the realm of possibility? I mean, from a technical standpoint it would be daunting, but if they partitioned the open world into sectors, I feel like it would be doable. I like the idea expanding the territory so we could get more varied topography in the game. The main reason I suggest it though is that it would deliver on a fantasy that I love in my games; namely a world spanning adventure. Especially since ES features mounts and seems to be polishing them up in each subsequent iteration, it seems like a waste that we cannot set off on a distant journey because the natural evolution of events requires us to be in a different region.

I honestly wouldn't mind a little bit of compression of each province, or at the least, maybe a specific region of a province or two that serve an important function. I think I would find this multi-province game especially nice since I get tired of the one note aesthetic of each game. The Nordic themes wore thin after a while for me specifically, and it seems as though there is a real pull to play as the "chosen race" for any given game. I could never bring myself to roll a Nord, since I love Dunmer so much after Morrowind, but the idea of a bare chested Nordic Dragonborn Fus-Ro-Dahing everything in range was always enticing. More provinces opens us up to more cultures which hopefully opens the door for different regionally inspired garments, weapons, armor, etc.

I've always thought this would be a cool idea. A "make your own" bandit clan for TES, and a Raider clan for Fallout.
