So, it was the patch if i′am right. But i don′t understand why the PS3 Patch was 40 MB and the Xbox only 3 MB! Now we only must wait for Adams confirmation.

Because there's two separate patches, we've had the 3mb one already and soon to be having a 40mb patch as well. The PS3 had the latter already but were still waiting for ours. Why is this so hard for people to understand? If you're under 10 or illiterate I apologize, otherwise go back to school.

Pretty sure that Microsoft don't allow patches over a certain size. Something like 8mb. I have heard developers talk about it before in how it makes patching rather difficult.

And I kinda think that's how it should stay, to be honest. Heavy Rain on the PS3 has a patch that is roughly 250 MB. =/

Would **** love to log on one day and see a 250mb patch for this game

On second thought no I wouldn't. It would take them like 9 months just to type up the patch notes. Took like 6 days for the 3mb patch notes.

Yeah, but big patches are better, because they have all of the content inside of them,,

Wrong. Microsoft only restricts how big a title update can be, but devs can still make bigger patches that you can download from the Xbox Live Marketplace. For example, for Battlefield Bad Company 2 there is the mandatory so many megabytes title update and there is also a huge 100's of megabytes patch that is technically optional but is required for online play. So what you said is incorrect, just fyi.

Well we didn't get the full patch, cause either they have confirmed that they can't program (cause try to trust me- that list hasn't been fixed in the game I own. ) or They are just lying. Neither I think is true.

Crysis 2 Patch Notes

On Thursday 31st March we released a patch for the X360 system that fixed many issues raised by the community. Today we have also released a patch for PS3.

We would like to thank the community for helping us to identify a number of unexpected issues, and we will continue to monitor the game and community for future fixes and improvements.

^^This is what is frustrating me the most, the minimal effort put it to the communication.

That first sentence is just wrong in so many ways, and it is either an out right lie, or they have little clue as to what is actually going on.

So the PS3 got a 40mb patch compare to the 3mb we recieved? I can't find that specific info on their forums, but people are still complaining about bugs since their patch over there. And what was the purpose of locking other threads about the most recent patch? Because it is a clone-topic? There are so many other clone threads out there that don't get the same attention.

Can we get some Clarification and Confirmation as to what patch Crytek was expecting us to have recieved on Thursday? I thought you announced that was a patch for "behind the scene's" stuff to deal with cheating and piracy....

FIRST: Source??? SECOND: Have u ever read his reply??? He clearly said: "I will try and confirm these are the correct patch notes for the 360 ASAP. It is the same list as the PS3 list but i don't know whether that means they we're wrongfully posted or if the patch solves the same issues on both platforms." It seems for me that he also have no clue what happend, but he NEVER said anything about a bigger patch or ****.
BTW. I′am not 10, i would easily beat your ass back over your island, trust me, haha!

In fairness.. Crytek need s dedicated PR man/woman.

Someone who can actually clarify details on a regular basis and keep us in the loop as it seems were all complaining in some way but with no one from Crytek acknowledging anything (seemingly ) its making it the all the more frustrating .

End of the day the game needs the fixes badly and quickly..

Hey guys,

Just clarified that these are the correct patch notes so if you're still experiencing issues even though it's on the list of fixes then please mention this in a thread (if it exists, please use it) and we'll get down to the bottom of it.

Apparently the patches for 360 are compressed heavily which accounts for the large difference in file size and the difference in release date was because the 360 patch was simply made available sooner than the PS3 one and the PC after that, specific details i don't know :)

EDIT: In order to keep everything in the one place, please continue discussion on the patch here: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=20212

Thanks!
