The Beatles

Since Beatles songs are some of the easiest and most fun to play on the guitar, Id say Im a huge fan. The White Album was arguably the best IMO. The wrote perfect pop gems.

I can't play much on the guitar, but I was always most proud of learning the riff to Daytripper :P Probably couldn't play it now though.

This thread has got me listening to Beatles songs, and Helter Skelter just came on. Am I imagining it, or did that song have something to do with a murder? Maybe it was a different one - I'm sure there was something like that though.

That's what makes them so great, their simple, yet effective melodies. Paul and John take most of the credit on that, and rightly so. They didnt need to be over technical, and most of the technical stuff on the recordings was done by studio musicians.

Manson. Wrote it all over the walls. Blamed it on the Beatles.

ME, I am an out and proud Beatle hater.

They are one of the most over rated bands ever to exist. The only good song they ever did was yesterday. John Lennin had a couple of decent songs when he went solo but that's it

I like all the songs that Ringo wrote. Speaking of Ringo, BEST [censored] THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE NARRATOR EVER!!!

And there's much more songs I like. Funny thing, I used to hate them a ton...but I began to like them in an embarrassing way; Beatles Rockband.

Manson. Wrote it all over the walls. Blamed it on the Beatles.
Funny thing is, in an interview I saw of him for a class, he said he wanted to do something "witchy" with the murder.

As for the individual Beatles members, Ringo and George are tied as my favorites, Paul and Lennon tied as my least favorite, and Yoko the spawn of Satan.

They're ok. Not my cup of tea, but they're ok. I do acknowledge what they did for the music industry though.

I love how everyone thinks it's cool to bash a band, hahahaha like the op said if you dont like em' don't waste your time complaining about them :) I happen to love The Beatles. I loved the movies they made, the albums, they made, and the solo work they did after. RIP John Lennon and George Harrison.
