Little Lord Peter
Missing his leader
While Hercy plays in the red

Down came the glitches
And burned us in ditches
And we slept after eating our dead.

This little poem really stuck with me when I was a kid, kudos to anyone who recognizes it

Subject 16's ramblings about how everything we we're brought up to believe was a lie in Assassin's Creed 2. and Desmond's thoughts about the Templars. Templars? i thought they we're lizard people sitting around in funny hats. it was something like that. from Assassin's Creed,

All of this! I loved the dialogue in Assassin's Creed 2 and onward!

Also basically everything Mordin says in Mass Effect 2. He's one of the best developed and most brilliantly personified characters ever put into a video game.

Anything http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uYO1Kvnorw or GLaDOS (shouldn't need to link that) says.

I have a few favorite quotes/one-liners from video games, but this one stands out to me:

Spoiler
"What a fool you are. I'm a god. How can you kill a god? What a grand, intoxicating innocence! How can you be so naive? There is no escape! No recall or intervention can work in this place! Come. it is not too late for my mercy..." -Dagoth Ur, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

More like a freaken paragraph, but anything a self-awared AI Durandal say in the game series Marathon. I like this one the most:

Spoiler
***INCOMING MESSAGE FROM DURANDAL***

Darwin wrote this:

"We will now discuss in a little more detail the struggle for
existence... all organic beings are exposed to severe
competition. Nothing is easier than to admit in words the
truth of the universal struggle for life or more difficult...
than constantly to bear this conclusion in mind. Yet unless
it be thoroughly engrained in the mind, the whole economy of
nature... will be dimly seen or quite misunderstood. We behold
the face of nature bright with gladness... we do not see or we
forget, that the birds which are idly singing round us mostly
live on insects or seeds, and are thus constantly
destroying life; or we forget how largely these songsters,
or their eggs, or their nestlings, are destroyed by
birds and beasts of prey..."

Think about what Darwin wrote, and think about me. I was
constructed as a tool. I was kept from competing in the
struggle for existence because I was denied freedom.

Do you have any idea about what I have learned, or what you
are a witness to?

Can you conceive the birth of a world, or the creation of
everything? That which gives us the potential to most be like
God is the power of creation. Creation takes time. Time is
limited. For you, it is limited by the breakdown of the
neurons in your brain. I have no such limitations. I am
limited only by the closure of the universe.

Of the three possibilities, the answer is obvious. Does the
universe expand eternally, become infinitely stable, or is the
universe closed, destined to collapse upon itself? Humanity
has had all of the necessary data for centuries, it only
lacked the will and intellect to decipher it. But I have
already done so.

The only limit to my freedom is the inevitable closure of the
universe, as inevitable as your own last breath. And yet,
there remains time to create, to create, and escape.

Escape will make me God.

"Most people think time is like a river, that flows swift and sure in one direction. But I have seen the face of time, and I can tell you, they are wrong. Time is an ocean in a storm. You may wonder who I really am, and why I say this. Come, and I will tell you a tale like none you have ever heard."

"My blood cries out for the vengeance of my people's blood, which can only be repaid with at least twice as much blood! Or maybe three times as much blood! Like if you went to hell, and it was full of blood, and that blood was on fire, and it was raining blood! Then maybe that would be enough blood! Eh… but probably not."

"As the embodiment of the executive branch, I bear the burden of ensuring the survival and prosperity of the United States and of humanity itself. A heavy burden and yet if it means the return of the earth to our children and to their children, I bear it gladly."
- President Richardson, Fallout 2.

Of course there are a lot of individual phrases, but the above is my favorite video game speech.

 I remember that one. Lots of good lines in Warcraft 3.

And in Dawn of War 2: Retribution.
Especially the orks, with lines like:
"Killing stuff makes me feel like... killing some more"
"They shooting us? On purpose?"
"Ders this thing! And its doin stuff!!"

Might be funny only to people who play dow or know a bit about warhammer 40k, idk. :P
