I have noticed recently a major influx of new forum members.
so i decided to make this thread to post any gameplay videos, and interviews so that the new forum members dont have to search through tons of old threads to get information.

here are the answers to frequently asked questions

Q-how big is the mojave wasteland?:
A-the same size as the capital wasteland

Q-is this a dlc
A-no

Q-can i import my fallout 3 character:
A-no

Q-is the tommy gun in game:
A-unconfirmed

Q-will there be dlc:
A- Most likely but also unconfirmed.

Q-are there vehicles
A- no

Q- so ammo has weight
A- only in hardcoe mode

Q-how does hardcoe mode work
A- from what we know ammo has weight, stimpaks heal over time and we have to eat,sleep and drink occasionaly. also sleeping does not recover health.

Q-is it multiplayer
A-sorry guys, single player only

Q- why isnt this called fallout 4
A- because it isnt. it is like the GTA Vice City of fallout. its not a direct sequel.

Q- when is the release date
A- either october 19 or october 22 for the US. i dont know about other countries

Q-how often are perks earned
A-every 2 levels

Q-whats the level cap
A-30

Q- can i become a ghoul
A- no, sorry.

Q-will the enclave be in vegas
A-unlikely, though if they are they will play a very minor role

Q-what are the radio stations
A- one is confirmed, the dj is voiced by wayne newton, and he is known at mr. new vegas

Q-is the Player character voiced
A-the player character is not being voiced

Q-what are the system requirments for the pc
A- i would assume (since i dont play it for pc) they will be about the same as fallout 3.

Q-Will there be mods for Consoles.
A- no, i wish

Q-which store gives which pre order packs
A-here we go-(walmart/steam-Caravan pack) (gamestop-classic pack) (Best buy- Mercenary pack) (amazon-Tribal pack)

Q- what do the packs contain
A- classic pack-(Armored vault 13 jumpsuit, weathered 10mm pistol, 5 stimpaks and vault 13 canteen.)
mercenary-(mercenary grenade rifle, lightweight metal armor, some Super Stimpaks and a medical bag)
Caravan-(Sturdy Caravan shotgun, lightweight leather armor, repair bag and binoculars.)
Tribal-(broad machete, Tribal raiding armor, some vials of bleak poison and 10x throwing spears)

Q- Will there be fast travel
A-yes, in both hardcoe and standard mode.

yeah. i wonder if that fallout new vegas tv advertisemant caused lots of people to join the forum. so many threads were being locked yesterday.
people get on new forumers case so much saying stuff like "we have known this for forever" or "search before you make a thread"

but in truth it can be hard to catch up to some of the older members. i was lucky enough to join in early july when information and gameplay vids started to show up like crazy

You don't have to post in it complaining and making demeaning remarks. New members join full of enthusiasm and make their post, just because we have seen it before - sometimes many times - shouldn't be a reason for them to be moaned at.
