THIS!
It's doomed to fail.
Tell that to Chronicles of Riddike:EFBB and Goldeneye 007.

Not with Gamebryo. I think this would be better as a 3rd person game, maybe Rockstar, but their pretty busy with GTA V. And most games based off books and/or movies don't end up well.

Your list looks like it would make a really good game, if done right.

Ubisoft comes to mind as a good canidate to develope this type of game. It just feels like you could get away with assassin's creed style gameplay for this. I most certainly would hope not Rockstar though. Their tutorials that they need to put in every game puts me to sleep....because they pretty much need a tutorial for everything in a game that you can do almost anything (how to drive cars and boats, how to fly planes, how to perform drive-bys, how to shoot from the back of a tyrannosaurus-rex....the list just goes on and on.)

Looking at the history of games based off movies...
*Putin facepalm*
Only EA bases the games on movies when the can base them on books!

I don't know if you can turn them off, but they are pretty easy to ignore. I've never had a problem with them and Rockstar makes really good 3rd person games. Ubisoft might work too.

Whether this series was a book or a movie first, it hardly matters.

Plenty of games based off movies AND books end up svcking- Harry Potter for an example?

Yeah I don't recall Goldeneye 007 being that good of a game  Fun when you're a kid, but useless when you grow up.

And Riddike, idk if there's more than 1, but the one I played blew.
