Where abouts in Scotland you fae? I'm in the Highlands. Reason I ask, is hopefully you're near Inverness, when you get it hopefully I'll get it soon.

The reason I am annoyed is becouse Amazon havn't even bothered to email us to tell us there is a problem. If it's Royal Fail's issue then why arn't they in lingo? I don't get it. Why's it so hard for Royal Fail to say to Amazon "By the way, those things you asked us to send? Yeah, can't do it. Tell your customers.". I've more or less wasted a day waiting and waiting... Sad? Yeah, that as may be, I was told I would get it today therefore I should expect it today unless told otherwise.

You can't complain about Amazon not notifying you about things if the Royal Mail hasn't notified Amazon. After all, Amazon does not control the Mail nor can it made reporting demands upon it.

I hate siding with Amazon but if some have received it, and others haven't, then the problem definitely is with RM and not at their end. They've dispatched them all on the same day. It's up to RM after that...

Doesn't Amazon ship with a private shipper in the UK, like FedEx? In the US, they rarely ship by US Postal Service. What does the shipping status on your order say at this point?

Yeah I agree. Plus, people who have pre-ordered from other websites (such as GAME) are also waiting. Amazon not dispatching most copies until yesterday doesn't help but there are people who had their copies dispatched at the end of last week still waiting. I think its Royal Mail.

It is most definitely Royal Fail. When the game was dispatched is irrelevant, unless we're talking about First or Second Class, it should turn up the next day. They've screwed up somehow, and it's not the first time.

No, they use Royal Fail. Well, usually they do. In my Email it says "dispatching via Royal Mail.".

Don't get me wrong guys, mistakes happen. But, what mistake could they have made? I wont pretend to know the Mailing system, or their Failing system but I can't imagine it to be terribley complex with the huge workforce and size of 'company' they are. But, surely if my other post has arrived, then why hasn't Skyrim? So, therefore either from Distrabuter to Amazon or Amazon to Royal Fail something has gone arie. I remember seeing somone post something about a courier being delayed... Anyone got any light to shed on this?

I preorded from shopto, I half expected it to come yesterday.... didn't come. So I thought it would definitely come today..... didn't come :verymad:

Shopto dispatched 2 days ago, first class. So to be fair the fault is with Royal Fail. I went to my nearest GAME store and bought it there instead. If/when my preorded copy does finally arrive then I'll send it back and get a refund.

Silly me for trusting them.

Has anyone else not had their copy of Skyrim when it was expected?

Yeah me, didn't arrive so I bought the steam version. Was going to return the plastic, but my brother will get the extra copy.

Ok, another friend of mine has just gotten his an hour ago via a royal mail truck. PC version.

I'm still pissed off because I don't have mine, but i guess they're still delivering them.

Good luck, they usually deliver once and once only. If it's not with your post, then chances are you are not getting it until the next delivery.

I had preordered mine from a local store but for some reason they only got PS3 copies and PC and XBOX 360 copies will be delivered on Monday. :cryvaultboy:

Moreover I have a biology exam on tuesday so :banghead:

Amazon "game-day release" service has worked for me in the past when the game was marked as having that service... but I've noticed some games aren't marked as such.

I asked Amazon about it, some games aren't a part of the program.

Royal Mail... if games were sent via USPS we wouldn't see the game for a week, God bless UPS/FedEx. :thumbsup:

On a sort of good note, Saturday is a full service day for Royal Mail. There is a 99% chance we will both get it tomorrow.

If not, buy the game from another shop and return the one Amazon sent when it finally arrives. I didn't care that everyone got the game earlier than me, but the fact that it hasn't arrived when they 'guaranteed' it would is just poor customer service.

Suffice to say, I will be using Shopto in future.

And now, I will go and cry in the corner while eating myself to death.

Well, hopefully we will get it tomorrow. If it doesn't come tomorrow, Amazon are in for a world of hurt! Uhm, via hate mail ofcourse

Guys, let us know when you get your games and how! (I.e Royal Fail or Parcel Force etc)
