Here a summary of what I can get from this whole thing:
A customer complaint the product is late, the PR was being a bit unhelpful at first, customer complaint again, then the PR became childish and insult the customer.
Mike Krahulik go a wind of this, join in the mess, PR act all hard and claim he know everybody, then Mike ban him and the company from the convention that the PR claim to know and the internet came down on the PR and the company he work for HARD.
PR got fired and the company apologies.
I've just finished reading through those emails so I'm up to speed now.
Just one thing:
It's awesome. Twitter dug up a domestic violence charge from 2008. Initially, he insisted that "it's called a [censored] hug," but, when pressed, said https://twitter.com/#!/oceanstretagy/status/151847259301101569. This guy is a hilariously awful person.
Is this the PR guy? Seriously?
Not that I have any sympathy, but between these two things, that guy is ruined, personally and professionally.
