The 2 most notable bugs I've found before I stopped playing were: (will try playing again once I read what the 1.3 actually does)

- Bard quest line broken at flute (stuck in the inventory). A very common one.

- Also the camera will bug in 3rd person view when changing into a werewolf, and then it stays bugged when changing back. Bugged as in it zooms into the character so you see your character from the waste up -- which takes up the entire left side of the screen in normal form, and 50% of the lower half of the screen in WW form. Kind of like playing with blinders on.

By the looks of things very little isn't buggy.

I registered just so I could post my issues as well.

Issues: crime scene quest won't work, dragons flying away and backwards, talking to Degaine in Malkrath showing as a quest after I stole the statue, severe lag at various times especially in cities, freezing after fast traveling multiple locations, warped soul gem quest won't work for final convector, Jarl of Riften won't make me Thane, bandit leader quest in Orotheim won't activate.

II'm a fan and have been playing RPG's since Morrowind.

Here's hoping to you guys getting this game fixed.

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, I'm not familiar enough with PS3 arhitecture to know. Could the problem with dragons not giving up their souls be somehow related to save file size? I ask because it never happened to me until my save files hit 13mb, now it's happened three of the last four times.

In fps while holding sprint, some times i will do stealth rolls and sometime in stealth i can roll even tho i dont have the perk .

There seems to be many problems with the weapon racks. Not only will Orcish battleaxes display horizontally instead of vertically like they're supposed to, but Wuuthrad simply goes "Screw this, I'm outta here!" and simply drops nearby. I tried hanging Wuuthrad up in my home in Markath, but it just refused to be a decoration.

I had a similar issue with bookshelves. It won't let me take books off the shelf, nor rearrange it once it's full. It just says "This is full, you can't place anymore". Well no duh, I want to take a book off the shelf. But apparently I can't do that. Sorting my library is now impossible...

A couple of new bugs I haven't seen reported (sorry if they have.)

-Frost Breath doesn't do anything. I've used it on sevaral occasions and the enemy took no damage, wasn't slowed and could still do Power Attacks. (I know all three words of the shout.)

-Since becoming Archmage, I cannot receive training in any skill from any teacher anywhere in the world. (Not just magic skills, any skill.) It always says I've trained 5 times this level. I've leveled up several times since this started, but the same thing happens every time.

-Speaking of Archmage, when I exited the Hall of the Elements after the Archmage was killed, and went through the dialogue sending me on the next quest, a dragon attacked. Several mages were in the courtyard, and not one of them attacked the dragon. They just stood there. I died twice fighting the dragon, and each time the game reloaded, the same thing happened.

-(This is kind of a long one.) After finishing the "Diplomatic Imuunity" quest, I exited the cave and tried to fast-travel, but was told there were enemies near. After searching a while, I found a dragon above me, apparently stuck in some trees against a mountain. Killed it with my bow, and the dragon began jittering while the game lagged almost to unplayability. Blew the dragon out of the trees with "Unrelenting Force," and the dead dragon flew away. Immediately attacked from behind by a cave bear and died. Reloaded. This time I climbed above the dragon and killed it. Jitters. Lag. Unrelenting force. Dead dragon flew away. Fast travelled and the game froze. Reloaded. This time, blew the dragon out of the trees before attacking. Dragon flew away without attacking me. Continued with the quest. Found Ebern. On exiting the ratway, we were ambushed. Ebern summoned a Frost Atronach and the game froze. Turned off the game in frustration.

Let's hope the patch to patch the patch they're releasing doesn't make things even worse.

Chiming in with my pet peeve bug from the previous thread: no battle music. The world music continues to play, but I almost never get battle music, and when I do it takes a long time to kick in and is usually inappropriate (for example, I got a piece of dragon boss music with a couple of bog standard Bandits).

Apart from the spastic dragons, lousy performance and 4 freezes in one day:

* Unable to retrieve arrows from some doors (worked fine in Oblivion)
* Giant spider only falling half way to the floor, creating the fearsome hoverspider.
* Bookshelf full of books is rendered as empty and functionally dead. No error message, can tap x forever, nothing happens.

Anyone else experienced a mystery bounty? I've got a 1000 gp somehow, somewhere... But revisiting any of the holds I've visited yields no repercussion from local law.

After 1.2 dragons are no longer hostile to me. They will fight anything in the area but me and attacking one gives me an assult, and even then they ignore me. I tried a few experiments and this is what I noticed. If a dragon is attacking something with its breath and I get in the way it does not hurt me. If I kill everything in the area the dragon will fly around in large circles but never attack me. I'm not sure that 1.2 actually caused this bug or not. I basically cant kill a dragon now because after they kill whatever they were after they take to the skies. Any of you ever have this happen? I've been lurking for about a week but I havent seen a post about this. My save is 7 mb and I domt experience any lag, autosaves still on.


this happens to me in the wilderness if im in a city or town then they attack and im able to kill them but if im in the wilderness then nothing they dont attack even after spending ten mins trying to hit it with a bow i had two in the wilderness outside the secret entrance for the dawnstar sanctuary and for the love of god i could not get them to attack me or become aggravated by me and they very rarely ever land or hover now too which makes em even more difficult only thing is there breath still does damage just even more damamge then before they now nearly kill me with one breath

My Bugs, Pt.2

1) Some Misc Quests I've completed, show back up in my list after load up my game. Like "talk to Greta about going back to the Temple"
2) Started a quest to talk to IrnSkar about Octieve in Solitude. It shows on my map that IrnSkar is in Solitude, but outside the city walls where I cannot reach him.
3) Sometimes my Argonian will not stand up from crouching after I press the stick. It shows I'm standing by the cursor, but I'm still crouched.
4) I Cannot Invest gold into any shops, I got 3 in Whiterun and that was all.
5) Biggest of all: When I walked into Hag's End, The game whet crazy. Textures disappeared, I saw blue spaces my game froze and locked up my PS3, I had to wait 10 minutes while I worried about my files getting corrupted because I had to Hard Rest my console! Was not a fan!

I've had about the opposite, in the beginning I would come to a hold for the first time and immediately be stopped to pay off my 1000 bounty. It was rather angering.

started the companions quests after i had randomly cleared a few dungeons. one of the first tasks given was to clear a dungeon of the undead up by winterhold. the problem i encountered was that i had already cleared the dungeon. the objective arrow tells me to enter, but when i do, the arrow tells me to leave again. the dungeon shows "cleared" on my map. every item has been found and every enemy killed. when i return to the companions, i'm told i have already been assigned a job and need to complete it, therefore i cannot start new missions from that storyline.

Go to the guy who gave you the job to recieve your award and it should complete.

Found a new bug this morning myself. Killed a dragon and it must have been stuck in its ragdoll animation because it would not burn up and give me its soul, it just laid there. Also I have been playing the game for around 60+ hours and have encountered a random dagon only twice. I hear from my friends that they get attacked often. I walk everywhere and have only fast traveled a few times and I am rarely attacked. Hopefully the update this week has the remedy and if not I hope Bethesda is reading this. Thanks for all your hard work guys, still my GOTY even after these issues.
At the Mage's College in Winterhold, i fast travel there often and prolly once every two days i kill a dragon.

Okay, I posted ealier that I was unable to train on any skill anywhere in the world after becoming archmage. Well, after leveling up a few more times, the problem seemed to go away. I talked to a trainer (Sergius Terranus) and was able to train up two more levels (to 75, the max he could teach me.) I then immediately turned to the Alteration trainer and asked for training. When the training screen came up, it said that I'd already trained twice with this trainer. I trained up three levels with him, Then went to the Illusion trainer and it said I'd trained five times. Apparently, now training with any trainer counts as training with every trainer.

Just wanted to contribute the bugs I was experiencing to the list:

1. When I activate a magical cloak (flame, frost, lightning cloak) while an atronach is summoned, it automatically dismisses it. I can re-summon the atronach afterwards and everything is fine, however, in the heat of battle, having my atronach unceremoniously dismissed is quite aggravating.

2. I've seen others post about this one - invisible face while having Morokei mask and Arch-Mage's robes equipped.

3. Another repeat - bookshelves in Whiterun (the only house I have right now) aren't functional. I was able to place books on each shelf once, but since then I haven't been able to activate the bookshelves consistently. Sometimes it won't let me do anything, other times I can activate a shelf and place books on it, however, they never appear on the actual shelf.

4. Can't interact with weapon racks in house.

5. Couriers are appearing to me naked! In the middle of Windhelm, too!

Other than these, the game is running wonderfully so far. Level 21, 43 hours, 5800 KB.

just a couple of minutes ago the sound got a crackling sound that sounds like wood burning in fire, and it won't go away unless i restart the ps3.

Played for quite a while today (running on SSD seems to have staved off lag for now). Noticed these problems:

- Bookshelfs in Whiterun - Thought I'd managed to dodge this one but after i filled up the shelves to capacity, a bunch of the books I'd just placed disappeared and now I can't interact with the bookshelves at all
- Framerate drops near mist - This isn't the "omg, my game is imploding" framerate drops caused by the save file. This one is much more consistent and seems to happen whenever there is heavy mist effects in the game. I don't know if this counts as a "bug", but if someone could optimize this or something that would be cool. Fighting a bunch of casters in a mist-filled cavern is pretty difficult
- Game froze on me after fast-travelling to Whiterun - Was just approaching the smith woman outside of Warmaidens and everything froze up. Music kept playing, but couldn't go to XMB or do anything else. Just froze.
- Weapon rack ate one of my enchanted ebony swords once - Reloaded, currently have Sanguine Rose and Staff of Ice Storms sitting on it, seems okay now.
- Shops opening at strange times or failing to open during the day - This happens with Warmaiden's a lot
- Dragon's not attacking - I've read that some dragons were designed to just fly overhead, so this may not be a bug. I've also had dragons fly down and try and eat my face, so . . .
- Werewolf transformation - I was transforming into a werewolf and somehow got caught between the werewolf transformation and casting a spell. Werewolf had gibbled up hands out in front of him in spellcasting pose. Was stuck like this for a few seconds before transformation continued and turned into werewolf
- Lag - Had hard lag in Whiterun until installing SSD.

I get that a lot too. I'd assumed it was intentional, like the owner was taking a day off or something.

iv just realized i can no longer yield if being chased for a crime even if its something so small i only get a bounty of 5 or 40 i put my weapon away but it doesn't let me yield so i either end up getting killed by all the guards in the area or run for miles before i can quick travel to another hold i find it stupid im almost getting killed by town people and guards for punching a chicken

It's always been like this for me. I have to sheath my weapon, draw it again, then sheath it again. The second attempt to submit usually works.

This isn't a bug , you are only able to buy training a total of 5 times per level . It doesn't matter who you train with . I f you were previously able to train 5 times per trainer with multiple trainers per level , then that was the bug .

hi! sry didnt if its aalready listed:

i cant get the shout next to the shrine of meridia in solitude province.
i dont see the blue font on the wall but i hear the music, but i cant get it. no matter if i am directly at the wall looking at every part and stay there for long. the shout absorption doesnt get triggered.

i cant get the shout in the secret home of the Dark Brotherhood.
i see the shout on the wall, i hear the music and get the info "new shout learned" but i dont have it then in my list.

EDIT: i have tried another savegame from before i start the Dark Brotherhood Questline. i thought i possibly can get the third word before and then i get the shout from the dark brotherhood secret location.i am not able to absorb the shout in the forsaken cave.

1. Controller grows a mind of it's own - On a few separate occasions I've had the controller just lock up and start twirling around or going straight forward
2. Lock ups - Experiencing lock-ups in Whiterun
3. Missing textures - The water in Whiterun is acting funky. Specifically the river running under the bridge a few steps from the entrance, and the two aqueduct things coming down from the wind district
