Anyone else have their Health permanently fortified? Mine is ALWAYS green and there's nothing active concerning my health in the 'Active Effects' tab. Odd. (Jovian_Redvein)

I thought I was alone there. I ran into that persistent health buff in patch 1.1 shortly after release and posted about it several times. Haven't run across it yet with my new character in 1.2 but I think either eating ingredients or drinking a crafted pot may be the culprit because I had an odd 17 HP buff. Can only think of crafted pots that buff to odd numbers like that. Is your character pre 1.2?

Found a couple new bugs this morning involving the riften house .
I had just completed Waking Nightmare before going to bed last night . I fast traveled to Honeyside and put the Skull of Corruption on the weapon rack right inside the door of the room with the mannequins . This morning I loaded my game , and not only was the Skull missing , but the mannequin to the right of the door was standing directly in front of the weapon rack . The weapon was not in its inventory , which , oddly was still activated in the mannequins original position .
After reloading a previous file to get the Skull back , I once again went to Honeyside , stopping in Ivarstead on the way to steal some dreams with it . When I got to Riften , I killed the chickens in my backyard just to try out the Skull .
Iona did not take that very well . She attacked me instantly once I stepped inside the house .
After reloading my file once again , I did some experimenting . I've noticed a bunch of glitches where you can rob people through walls , so I though maybe I accidentally hit Iona when I was using the Skull . First I checked to make sure she was standing at the fire , then ran outside and flamed the side of the house with Firebolt . Went back inside , she's " happy to see you my thane " .
Okay , maybe its just the Skull then , so back outside I went , aimed the Skull at the side of the house , went back inside , still happy to see me .
Well maybe she's just oddly attached to the stupid chickens I thought . Back outside to kill the chickens I went . Went back inside , and was met with an axe to the face .
I tried this with both the Skull and a regular sword , Iona flips out regardless of what you kill her chickens with . Calm does not work on her , but going outside and waiting 3 days does .

Besides all of the above , I have been playing relativly lag and glitch free for 2 days . Someone on here suggested loading a file upon startup instead of hitting continue , and it seems to be working . No lag , and the dragons are acting normal .

Found a new bug this morning myself. Killed a dragon and it must have been stuck in its ragdoll animation because it would not burn up and give me its soul, it just laid there. Also I have been playing the game for around 60+ hours and have encountered a random dagon only twice. I hear from my friends that they get attacked often. I walk everywhere and have only fast traveled a few times and I am rarely attacked. Hopefully the update this week has the remedy and if not I hope Bethesda is reading this. Thanks for all your hard work guys, still my GOTY even after these issues.

Bug I noteced last night. My characters game spouse cant even take a sword from me anymore unless I buy a majority of her store items. Only after I buy most of her store can I give her armor and weapons. Aela the huntress..... Makes no sense.

Bug that has been happening recently; after I fast travel somewhere and have been moving around, if I am sneaking around a lot and go to crouch, my game will freeze. This has happened one or twice before and twice this morning in a row. Also I fell through steps today by the docks in Windhelm and I've seen the backwards flying dragon a few times now in several locations (he also tends to have a perpetual seizure in the sky when I hurt him a bit). This is getting frustrating and far too frequent.....

This one made my Dark Brotherhood Questline unable to be completed. I cannot "kill" Ennodius Papius one of the first contracts. I tried it on my level 53 save and the game registers him as dead but it won't update the quest. I can't pickpocket him when crouching because the game registers him as dead. I can turn him into a zombie and kill him again so the game is recognizing him as dead but still the questline won't update. So I went back to a level 41 save before I completed the Civil War/ Alduin quests and it still won't update. I've killed him with a mace, Mjoll and with magic and still nothing. I've sunk over 140 hours into the game now and it is absolute bull that I can't finish the Dark Brotherhood quest. This is completely unacceptable. Anyone have any ideas?

Can add game auto-saves sometimes even though all auto-saves feats are turned off. Did it to me again last night on the quest The Caller. Also add a bug with The Stormcaller as well. i went in there persuade got the books and than wanted to kill her well it did the slow motion kill i chopped her head off but somehow she was still alive and teleported couple times without a head.

started the companions quests after i had randomly cleared a few dungeons. one of the first tasks given was to clear a dungeon of the undead up by winterhold. the problem i encountered was that i had already cleared the dungeon. the objective arrow tells me to enter, but when i do, the arrow tells me to leave again. the dungeon shows "cleared" on my map. every item has been found and every enemy killed. when i return to the companions, i'm told i have already been assigned a job and need to complete it, therefore i cannot start new missions from that storyline.

Putting this in the new v3 Buglist since I was on the very end of the last buglist before it was locked.

Version: PS3

Not sure if anyone has seen this yet or not but. Working on my alchemy skills and I noticed that not all of my ingredients are showing up in my inventory. Currently running 1.2 patch as well. Anyone else having this issue? uploaded a video to show what I'm talking about.

A couple of new bugs I haven't seen reported (sorry if they have.)

-Frost Breath doesn't do anything. I've used it on sevaral occasions and the enemy took no damage, wasn't slowed and could still do Power Attacks. (I know all three words of the shout.)

-Since becoming Archmage, I cannot receive training in any skill from any teacher anywhere in the world. (Not just magic skills, any skill.) It always says I've trained 5 times this level. I've leveled up several times since this started, but the same thing happens every time.

-Speaking of Archmage, when I exited the Hall of the Elements after the Archmage was killed, and went through the dialogue sending me on the next quest, a dragon attacked. Several mages were in the courtyard, and not one of them attacked the dragon. They just stood there. I died twice fighting the dragon, and each time the game reloaded, the same thing happened.

-(This is kind of a long one.) After finishing the "Diplomatic Imuunity" quest, I exited the cave and tried to fast-travel, but was told there were enemies near. After searching a while, I found a dragon above me, apparently stuck in some trees against a mountain. Killed it with my bow, and the dragon began jittering while the game lagged almost to unplayability. Blew the dragon out of the trees with "Unrelenting Force," and the dead dragon flew away. Immediately attacked from behind by a cave bear and died. Reloaded. This time I climbed above the dragon and killed it. Jitters. Lag. Unrelenting force. Dead dragon flew away. Fast travelled and the game froze. Reloaded. This time, blew the dragon out of the trees before attacking. Dragon flew away without attacking me. Continued with the quest. Found Ebern. On exiting the ratway, we were ambushed. Ebern summoned a Frost Atronach and the game froze. Turned off the game in frustration.

Let's hope the patch to patch the patch they're releasing doesn't make things even worse.

I'm experiencing the enraging problem with Karliah at the end of the Thieves Guild Quest line. I've restarted from save multiple times and watched Karliah leave early, trapping me in the well, not show up at all... trapping me in the well... and the quest arrow lodging itself in the ground and not updating from *Listen to Nocturnal with Karliah standing there "Busy". Trying the PC/360 fix for my PS3 didn't help, waiting made the quest update, however Karliah disappears if I start speaking to her... trapping me in the well. Infuriating.

Anybody got a fix on this for the PS3 or am I SOL until they recognize the issue and patch.


edit: This add is not really a bug more like a hey-o... When doing the Mercer assassination quest, make sure to not tell your companions to "wait here" before you enter the final room, they will maintain their holding pattern even when you are trying to leave and they need to meet you outside, you'll have to go back to a previous save, tell them to follow you and then go about your business.

I just wanted to add the things I've encountered as well since the update:

1) Blood Dragons flying backwards and seemingly un-attackable
2) Lady in Whiterun and her daughter just standing idly on the steps not ever moving.
3) Alik'r soldiers randomly appeared back in Whiterun even though I completed the quest hours ago.
4) I cannot access the books on the bookshelves, or the shelves themselves in Breezehome.
5) Random game freezes.

None of these hurt my gameplay, just minor annoyances. Would like to get my books though!

Bethesda please fix all of the player home issues such as the mannequins and weapon mounts. please fix this it is a problem for many people and one of my favorite things in skyrim is customizing my player home. please fix the bugs and glitches

I got an autosave on this quest too. Thought it was weird since she wasn't really all that scary. I persuaded her, and then I backstabbed her. Muwahaahaha.

Anyways. I noticed that trying to place a bow on the sword-and-shield crest racks is a bad idea the other day.

This may seem like a no brainer, but I am a curious kid, so I tried it out, and my bows totally disappeared. The rack ate my bow.

Came back a day later, and my bows were floating in the air above my bed. Odd.

I've also noticed that things don't always drop in nice stacks the way we'd like them to. For example, I dropped like 17 skooma bottles in Honeyside after clearing out the drug cave, had this notion that I'd put some skooma on my shelf for, you know, ironic trophy status or whatever, and got an explosion of skooma bottles. I managed to collect most of them, and the odd thing is that some of them did stack, but just in fragmented quantities. Even after collecting all of them and scratching the idea because decorating your house is flipping impossible since [censored] keeps reverting to wherever it was dropped, I still was only able to locate 15/17. There are still some loose skooma bottles floating around my Honeyside home somewhere....

And another weapon rack bug. If you have more than one of the same item, no matter how it's enchanted, upgraded, renamed, whatever, if you try to place the item in your hand on a rack, the duplicate item will actually end up on the rack.

So, say you have a Ebony Sword (fine) enchanted with fire equipped, want to rack it, but have an Ebony Sword (Epic) enchanted with frost in your inventory. Clicking on the rack equips the item in your inventory, not the item in your hand.

After attempting today's suggested fix of "letting time pass"...

I can report resting/waiting repeatedly freeze-crashing my game on PS3 now as today's new bug... No backwards dragons yet though.

I haven't played Skyrim since Thanksgiving, but here are the glitches I had up to that point.

1) Lag in Whiterun
2) The Alik'r Warriors are still at the Whiterun Gate after I've already finished the quest. I also think they cause severe lag when fast traveling to Whiterun.
3) Severe Lag in Windhelm
4) I cannot become Thane of Riften. There are Talk to The Jarl and Return to the Jarl in my misc. quests, but there is no new dialogue when talking to the Jarl. The steward will still converse about purchasing upgrades to Honeyside, but doesn't recognize that I've bought all the upgrades.
5) During one of the Companion quests, I found a dead body, but cannot notify the right people about the death. When talking to them, there are no dialogue options to relay the information. This is a misc. quest.

Those are the glitches and lag I remember running into.

the lag has gradually got really bad, and after 8 hours it got so bad it felt it was going to freeze my game. why is this happening? so many explanations, but i just want an honest and straight answer. at this point the lag is so bad i don't really care about the dragons with seizures that fly backwards. :(




Edit: oh yeah, the shadow textures are really bad in breezehome in white run, mostly in windhelm.

In the hopes that someone on the development side will actually have access to this thread...

Aside from all the prominent issues already being stated by most people on here (lag, freezes, etc.)

1. Ygnol Barrow (sp?) just SE of Windhelm will not load for me at all. After I enter that dungeon, the screen will load for a second and then go completely black with only my cross-hair and map bar still visible. I can still perform actions and exit the dungeon and reenter but with the exact same outcome. Audio is not affected.
2. As others have stated, I can not activate certain shouts in combat. This seems to be especially the case with multiple-word shouts that I have unlocked, such as Unrelenting Force.
3. There is a inexplicable time delay when switching out weapons during combat not due to lag or loading.
4. Certain quests do not clear off my quest log after I complete and turn them in. A specific example is the Giant Killing bounty quest given by Skald in Dawnstar.
5. I can not complete certain quests that require retrieving a certain quest item because I already picked up the item while randomly exploring a dungeon and already picked up the item without having already triggered the quest. Specific example: Fragment on Artaeum that is currently in my inventory that I can't turn in for a quest.

That's just some of my top ones aside from numerous other bugs/glitches that I've experienced since patching to 1.1 or 1.2.

I just encountered a Miscellaneous Quest bug involving "VIsit the College of Winterhold". In my past characters every time "First Lessons" started the Miscellaneous Quest tab would update and remove "Visit the College of Winterhold" but now this time it just stays there, and it always points me in the direction of the Bridge Guardian. The only difference this time is that I passed the persuade check with the Bridge Guardian rather than cast a spell. Can this go away?

Combat
There is no reason why it should take so long to switch between two handed and one handed weapons or spells equipped during battle. This is not as much a bug so much as a game mechanic that should be fixed.

General House Bugs
I am one of those players who spends hours organizing their houses in TES games and the home games are mad annoying. It is maddeningly frustrating after I spend a good 20 - 30 minutes arranging things on shelves, tabletops, etc. only to leave and come back later to find all of those items strewn randomly around the place or just gone completely. Really hope these are addressed in the upcoming patches. I really enjoy keeping a tidy house. Too bad I can't keep my real apartment looking so good.

Hjerim - The bugs in the Hjerim house are pretty unbearable.

- I was looking forward to moving to Windhelm after siding with the Stormcloaks and it's pretty large. Unfortunately, I bought the living room upgrade before choosing to clean the house. The mess never goes away no matter what you do and resets itself after a while throwing all of your stuff on the floor, behind furniture, or just eating it completely - causing all shelves to be essentially unusable.

[indent]Mannequins - The mannequins are also completely broken. Whenever I "store" anything on the mannequins the equipment does not appear on the mannequin at all or turns that section of the mannequin disappear completely. I don't, nor do I really want to, use the duplication exploit with the mannequins and would honestly prefer to just be able to use them to actually display my armor.[/indent]
[indent]Bookshelves - Ran into this problem recently. Activated a bookshelf to store some books I've picked up. Menu said I could store up to 5 more books on the shelf. After accidentally selecting the 6th book to store, a message popped up that the shelf was at capacity. I closed the menu and the first 5 books did not appear on the shelf and they were removed from my inventory. That shelf is now frozen and I am now unable to activate that book shelf nor can I remove any of the books from that shelf. (I think there is some fix for a bookshelf bug in the upcoming 1.3 patch but not sure if its for this)[/indent]

That occurred after equipping the Archmage's Robes and the Morokei mask simultaneously.

There's a bug in the Dark Brotherhood questline. After you hide inside the nightmothers coffin to eavesdrop on a conversation, the leader tells you to get more contracts. However the guy who gives you the contracts wont give you anymore, so essentially after doing about 3 Dark Brotherhood quests, I am cut off from the rest of the questline. :(

iv just realized i can no longer yield if being chased for a crime even if its something so small i only get a bounty of 5 or 40 i put my weapon away but it doesn't let me yield so i either end up getting killed by all the guards in the area or run for miles before i can quick travel to another hold i find it stupid im almost getting killed by town people and guards for punching a chicken

After 1.2 dragons are no longer hostile to me. They will fight anything in the area but me and attacking one gives me an assult, and even then they ignore me. I tried a few experiments and this is what I noticed. If a dragon is attacking something with its breath and I get in the way it does not hurt me. If I kill everything in the area the dragon will fly around in large circles but never attack me. I'm not sure that 1.2 actually caused this bug or not. I basically cant kill a dragon now because after they kill whatever they were after they take to the skies. Any of you ever have this happen? I've been lurking for about a week but I havent seen a post about this. My save is 7 mb and I domt experience any lag, autosaves still on.
