The Walking Pony Discussion

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 6:10 pm

I was thinking the same things about Carl and T-dog. T didn't seem to care all that much when his wife stayed behind at the CDC. All we know about him is that he's clumsy, dropping keys down pipes and cutting his arm during a walker stampede.

I think in this week's episode we may find out what Jenner (from the CDC) whispered to Rick.

I was hoping it would be something more than that, since that was basically revealed at the end of last episode.
I hope they leave the farm too.

I hope they go to the prison and we seeTyrese/Michonne and the Govenor - hopefully season 3 revolves around the prison and the Govenor's relentless attacks on it to gain entry :D

I've already spoiled myself completely on the season finale plot script. Luckily, I don't mind. It's gonna be a fun one. Can't wait!

....definitely hoping Season3 will show Rick being a bit more tough and less of an indecisive weenie after all these events. Don't want him to be a psycho or an angel, but somewhere in between. That's what this season was about I guess...the journey of Rick into "tougher." Or whatever.

I wouldn't say tougher, more like 'embracing the reality of the situation as opposed to railing against it'.

No, I mean ... like how he couldn't even do a mercy kill on a suffering human (vs. zombie) but could shoot those guys in the bar after some split-second chr. and pros/cons assessment. He's an immediate threat kind of person (cop) - and he needs to be more than that now.

Dear producers: Please kill Lori as soon as possible. Thank you.

...but yes, the finale rules. :D

I'm getting tired of Lori

Spoiler
She gets mad at her husband for killing a man who planned and attempted to kill him, a man who she also hated and he did it for her. She needs to come to terms with the fact that survival comes first, and when a man and his family is threatened he is going to react rather desperately.

Spoiler
Was that the prison at the end, and any speculation on who the hooded lady was?

Hopefully Talking Dead will answer some questions.

It looked like one, and I know she's a character in the comic

@BoS- Yes, that is The Prison.

Also, I don't see why everyone is on Rick's nuts? I know he's being a bit rough atm, but seriously, I think Ricks actions with everything was 100% justified.

He seems to be turning into what Shane was, though. The way he made those two announcements, and I don't think anyone 100% believes him about what happened last episode.

Can't wait to see the Governor. Apparently he's being played by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Morrissey

I agree. The rest of the group are acting like it's not a zombie apocalypse out there and that their first priority is survival.

Just talked about the chance of Merle, Morgan or Duane and he said one of them is in. I'm guessing/hoping that's Morgan, since in the comics
Spoiler
Duane is killed by zombies, and Morgan keeps him and feeds him, and the Morgan leaves with RIck

I don't think he's turning into Shane, he's just completely stopped [censored] footing around with things. I think he's being more pragmatic. Also, I don't see how, Rick pretty much told the story straight as far as I noticed.

Because most of them are like angry sheep...eg, they can't or don't want to lead & know they couldn't survive alone, but still whine/chafe at being commanded. I side with Rick as well...If you don't like it, go away. If you stay, stop yer whinin'.

But mostly...the producers need to fabricate some drama, so that's what they do. lol

Edit: Rick's not Shane...he's just stopping the fantasy. Getting real, so to speak.

I've never read the comic but I was like holy hell who is that? I never really hated any of the characters on this show until tonight....you guys know who. I cant wait until season 3.

Oh and I wanted to mention why Hershel or anyone else at the farm never really set up any real defenses. Spent more time eating dinners and trapping zombie neighbors. I mean how long would it have taken a dozen able bodies to dig a moat/ditch around the farm house and a tall sturdy fence/wall on the inside of the moat? I'm thinking a few weeks at the most and they were all there a lot longer than that.
