There are not other kind of kids in Skyrim?

Post » Wed Nov 07, 2012 3:16 am

And this would be different from the existing children... how, exactly?

Oy but then an Altmer kid would probably be just like any other Skyrim kid, times Infinity. With some annoying British-upper-class-entitled-twit accent on top of it.

*shudder*

And worse... Essential. Altmer, the only child I would EVER want to harm. Of course, they could be Niranye's children, she is actually pretty sweet for an Altmer.

I already wish I could fireball half the kids in Skyrim. Especially the one in Whiterun. "I'm not afraid of you! I don't care if you are my elder!" *punt*

I'd be fine with no more kids.

I was a bit disappointed about the lack of mer and elf children (especially in the orcs' strongholds! By Dibella, with three wives per chief you'd think there would be orc children).

But what's even more disturbing is that while the Nord parents have that pseudo Nordic accents, the children come with Americanised accents as if they watched Sesame Street since infancy....

I hope we get tho see those little improvements in future TES games the keep adding new stuff which makes its own universe richer

i think they will keep children now , and i suspect that we will see more variety next time , of course there is a chance they may add some in dragonborn

i liked how hearthfire added four new kids that actually had a bit more variety in their lives and did jobs i.e selling flowers was a neat idea , new npcs , especially children makes the game feel more populated

haha yeh thats funny, maybe the alpha male orc is not that macho or they just appear already grown up, being that the case, no other race would be as tough as the female orcs n.n ok off topic u.u

i cant imagine orc childrens nasal tones ..it would ruin the entire race , but at the same time can you imagine if you looked down at a little orc boy and suddenly he came out with "NO ONE BESTS AN ORC!" ...

I just thought about this, there are a lot of dunmer an bosmer in Skyrim, even Kahjit, but I only see nord kids with the same face. My Dunmer adopted 1 just for the achievement but thats it, he would gladly take care of a poor Dunmer refugee kid if there were any...

The last thing I need is some Altmer child running around being pompous, self-righteous and annoying as [censored].

I am not a afraid of that. I got Mods that allow me to *deal* with it.

I agree. While kids are useless, even annoying, since Bethesda decided to implement them it should have implemented more races, if anything for the sake of completeness.

this has already been questioned and answered several times. it wouldn't make sense setting-wise. there is already a sparse amount of Khajit in Skyrim period, along with Elves, Argonians, and Orcs.

and even if there were multi-racial children in Skyrim, they certainly wouldn't be located in the cities. due to the discrimination any race that isn't a Nord receives in general from the inhabiting populace.

ok , but that does not mean there wouldn't be a single non-human kid in the whole of skyrim does it ?

the khajiit i accept but the dark elves ? the orcs ? they have number so its not really good enough

Altmer children will be rare due to the Altmers long lives and low breeding rates.

There should be Dunmer children in Windhelm (possibly getting into fights with Nord children), Khajitt children tagging along with the caravans (or maybe not) and orc children in the settlements.

Well, I don't think that other races kids will happen officially, not many players care about them. And in fact, modders can fill that gap, so I'm not worried about it.

I'm quite happy with Ma'isha from mod that somebody posted earlier in this thread:

And Khajiit kids are not sissies like that human milkdrinkers
