Thinking of making a Dishonored FAQPrimer

Thank you for all of the info Sidrath and Sarkayel! If it's not an imposition, can you confirm one thing from this article that you posted a link to, Sidrath?

http://www.jeuxvideo.com/articles/0001/00017132-dishonored-e3-2012-preview

I'm really endeavoring when I'm not sleeping to try and find new info for this FAQ in addition to everything already revealed and there was one thing in the article brought up after painstaking Google Translate on my phone. It wouldn't have been if I could have copy and pasted, but I had to type up each line and that took more time than you'd think.

In the linked article at the end of the first paragraph, the author said there'd be a total of 10 charm slots. Not sure why he'd know that or if it was a misunderstanding. Is that true? Otherwise, everything else was revealed or brought to our attention by you.

Again, thank you Sidrath and Sarkayel. I know it's going slow, but I am making progress and I hope the end result will be informative and welcoming for anyone on the fence.

Can't remember the max number of slots you can unlock, but you start the game with 3 for sure!

Well that's something I didn't know, and I promise I'm not obsessed with charm slots despite the prevalence of posts I've made about them. Thank you Sarakyel. :)

Back to scouring the past pages. Everything will be of use one way or another.

Edit: I misspelled your name before editing, proving that I both need sleep and remedial reading classes as I don't think this is the first time I've done that. A rock and a hole beneath it would be very convenient to crawl under right now.

Might as well go for the hat trick. I submitted this question over at http://www.bethblog.com/2012/06/05/e3-2012-weekly-dishonored-qa-kicks-off/ but I think I missed the cut-off for consideration. I'll post it here as I think it'd be an interesting one assuming there is an answer to it.

Is there anything that (collectively) you wish had made it into the final product but couldn’t for some reason?

I think hearing what hit the cutting room floor will be particularly interesting for this game since a concept like double-jump/blink made everywhere effectively accessible, which then was initially viewed as a game-breaking mechanic only to be implemented and lauded as a central element along with being an example of adaptive gameplay serving toward a fuller immersive simulation.

At least I thought that was a good question and assessment of the protean designs in Dishonored. Now it's reading like flotsam and jetsam. I don't know.
