I miss Gundam Wing, DBZ, and Outlaw Star... I was having serious nostalgia last night and I hope CN brings back Toonami, they need to redeem themselves after the [censored] they have on now. Seriously there was a show where these animals were singing and said, " Don't look at our crotches while we synchronize our watches." and while saying that they pointed at their crotches. Since when do cartoons talk about their crotches! Cartoons today svck compared to back when Cartoon Network was Classic Cartoon Network.

Oh good lol. Kept having a feeling Rurouni Kenshin would be on too and I'd end up missing it.

Actually, that's Regular Show and it's pretty hilarious. It and Adventure Time are really the only reasons to watch Cartoon Network these days.

The Amazing World of Gumball isn't especially funny, but the animation is clever enough for it be worth checking out. I'd personally say Adventure Time is right up there Samurai Jack and the Powerpuff Girls, though.

Last night I found the guy who does T.O.M.'s voice's Facebook page, and he said that last night was a one time thing, but he's encouraging his fans to go to http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/feedback/ and tell CN if they want to see Toonami come back permanently.

Oh man, are they still broadcasting that? I loved that one. I get the feeling that even they a lot of people are angry about modern cartoons, in a decade the kids who grew up watching Chowder and Adventure Time will be complaining about how much things have gone downhill.

No, unfortunately it only ever got two seasons. And there's literally no place to buy it as it was never released on DVD. Though I think you can buy it on iTunes.

That's pretty sad :(

Has anybody else noticed how in the early 2000s shows could be really dark, but there was no profanity, whereas now they can say "svcks" and "pissed" sometimes but they can't get away with being extremely dark?

Haven't seen Young Justice, but I loved Teen Titans; especially the horror movie episode.

The new Thundercats show is really really good. It's the best remake of a classic show I've seen on TV.

I didn't think it would be an actually googleable thing. Why is it such big news? Aren't there quite a few other anime channels in the US?

The only remake of He-Man wasn't too bad from what I remember. The TMNT remake wasn't bad either.

Nostalgia, mostly. A lot of us grew up watching it, and it ended on kind of a bad note, so seeing it back on like it was at it's peak is pretty amazing.

Everything can be googled.

And yeah it's purely nostalgia. Nearly everyday when I got out of elementary school, I would go home and turn on Toonami.

Yeah... I always avoided Sailor Moon though. That show just weirded me out. Dragonball was a must-watch though. And I also remember staying up to watch the Big O sometimes.

I own the He-man reboot series on dvd---I really wished they could have keep going near the end they mentioned Hordak and there where talks about bringing She-Ra back into the spotlight. I mean to think how She-Ra would have been in the He-man reboot universe still intruiges me to this day. I also have a good collection of the He-man reboot action figures that I bought from amazon.

No... The Regular Show is just not a cartoon, because cartoons do not talk about their crotches, seriously since when is that okay for kids. And Adventure time is just stupid all the new shows starting with Chowder and Adventures of Flap jack everything from those two and on has svcked on cartoon network.
The Amazing World of Gumball isn't especially funny, but the animation is clever enough for it be worth checking out. I'd personally say Adventure Time is right up there Samurai Jack and the Powerpuff Girls, though.
I am not sure which show that is the Gumball one. There is no way in hell Adventure Time is any where near as good as Power Puff Girls or Samurai Jack, and I didn't find Samurai Jack all that good because it was the same thing every episode.

Really? I loved Adventure Time. I liked how it tends to treat the characters like real people (more or less) despite the ridiculous premise.

For those of you who missed it (like me), http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=jc9A5UeW1mg Such jubilation I am feeling! It also comes with links to yell at CN and AS that the Toonami hijacking was great.
