Don't blame Crytek as a whole, its made up of a few teams making diff parts of the game.

Blame Crytek UK for making a MP with bad lag issues and no dedicated servers, Crytek Frankfurt did the campaign And i Love it.

Crytek UK used to called free radical before it was bought up by crytek, they did timesplitters i beleive before that and that game was pretty lame.

I think part of the fun with this game is that we don't have a bunch of no life 3rd graders owning us at it. I haven't had any problems with the game except for the blurring of the enemies in both the campaign and multiplayer. I'm really happy with the game and I feel like people having problems with it need to give it a chance since its only been out a week. The first couple weeks of black ops and every other big release I can think of had problems as well. Also I wouldn't be surprised if EA pushed the release of this game a little earlier than Crytek would have liked. If thats not the case then they need to hire some new testers because they missed a lot of bugs in the campaign. Overall I'd say it was a success though.

I think GameSpy summed up my thoughts on Homefront with this statement:

I personally like this game, the campaign was great, i have not played MP much but when i have i have noticed few issues although the sometimes people kill me in 2 shots and sometimes i kill them in 2 shots, i play both Cod and Halo although i tend to play halo more because I feel that ever since cod 4 it is has been the same mechanics with new guns and stuff and i also love the vehicles teamwork in Halo. The main thing that I love about this game is that it takes the best things from Cod and Halo to combine them and the only issue is lag which should be fixed soon. The one that I would say about this game that I tell all my friends whoa re thinking of buyign thsi is that everything in it is overpowered which means that it is all fair and equal.

So in otherwords you fail at crysis 2 and can't play for **** so you take it out on its connection, and say "OMG I HAZ TEH AWESOME CONNECTION ON EVERY GAME" but its clear that you don't otherwise you would easily take host over many other people. So stop blaming the game when your a noob who still plays the halo series when it died off when halo wars came out, and actually start to see the bigger picture here you fail at life.

The connection in this game is horrible for me as well, i seem to be stuck in that 2 Bar trend which causes me to shoot - above needed amounts of bullets into enemies without earning kills.

Connection is bad because of the servers and host problems but its best to wait it out and not go i have the best connection on every other game. Then jump onto the forums flaming and trying to make excuses to why he svcks.

I can understand that servers are packed, but as long as our voices is heard their wouldn't be a need to complain. I'm sure if they came out with a statement at less telling us their working on a fix, (acknowledging problems) it'd cool down the flaming on the forums and make us all happy.

Knowing most people when they fix a problem they instantly pick on another problem and start flaming again.

That is the greatest response i have ever seen on this forum!

I don't blame him this happened to me in my first 3 retail matches (for some reason the demo had better armor etc) and thanks to the kill cam most people used a short burst on my lower body with armor mode on and full energy... yet it takes me a SCAR clip to take one down with head shots... it might be due to the fact that i was the only one with 4 bars while the others had 1 or 2... wish they had an option so you can pick to play with people with 3 or more bars...

*edit* also i got killed by a guy somehow shooting through 10ft of wall and killing me... kill cam showed me this...

lol I'm in southern california I tend to get only 2 bars or the dreaded red bar.
Yet I conisistently do work.... Why? Because I dont make excuses for myself. I just get use to the latency and play. (I come from UT3 console) So ping is not new to me, its called leading shots and playing smart.
decent internet helps too
