I would say 360 and PS3 users would answer yes to your question. It's kind of a given.

As an Xbox 360 player, yes.

Hopefully this is a very small part in an enormous expansion that has almost everything most of us wanted to be added, and has great story lines with amazing writing and player choice.

I don't see what the selling point of this to PC players is. Also, would microsoft be happy that one of its exclusive DLCs added new characters, quests, locations, skills, weapons, armour, factions, enemies etc - and the other added....a cabin?

Can we get the Title changed to: "The Prophet THINKS he knows what Hearthfire is about." Please? I mean really, first it was magic and now it's house mod. Isn't that enough to show that either it's just a small part of a larger dlc. Or secondly, the guy is just talking out of his ___ and why are we still going on about it three threads later.

oy-vay.

I seriously doubt building a home will be the sole part of the DLC. It'll certainly benefit console owners if it were that but it's of little interest to us PC owners. Even if the next one is smaller, I'd be very surprised if we didn't see another Bloodmoon or Shivering Isles (in size I mean).

No not really, this will be useful, im not going to say this again, but Bethesda is really throwing a bone to console users.

the only thing that might get me excited about a house building mod is a possible fix for the decorator's curse - i.e. the physics and the fairies that move all you stuff around when you leave...

I highly doubt the next DLC will introduce the ability to build homes.

Rebuilding/building settlements would be more proper, like Helgan for example, I doubt anyone would just up and leave it in smolders like that.
Building a single house? No.

Just because they're community made doesn't mean they're all good.

Frankly, I hope it IS something small so we (PS3 and PC) don't all have to hold our collective breath while the XBox crowd gets to stumble through it for a month and some change before the rest of us. They get two time-exclusive DLCs, if the second one is Horse Armor 2 or Generic House Mod, I can live with that if it means not having to wait any longer for the quest DLCS - if there is going to be any. We're almost to the one year marker and we've only got one DLC and one speculative one, kind of a poor showing for such a powerhouse title.

I agree with rebuilding settlements. Winterhold and Helgen could really use some rebuilding.

If you put the 'magic' theory and my 'rebuild' theory together then maybe you'd be able to find out why Winterhold collapsed and then get to rebuild it.
Many theories you could throw onto the 'home' basis or the 'magic' theory.

I can't speak for others, but as a 360 user this DLC idea seems lacking. If it was an added feature of a larger DLC similar to Dawnguard then I'd bee fine. I like the idea of a focus on more magic with the original theory of Hearthfire's content. This new thing, not so much.

1) place your item

2) exit and re-enter your house

3) Place the item again and it should stay there.

That doesn't always work. Sometimes no matter how many items you set items, leave, then set them again, they'll always move and the original items will keep going back to their places.
