EA and the Madden series is a worse influence IMO, no real competitors so they can continue to put out the same crap every year and there are still people rushing out to buy it

I would agree with this as well. Madden is actually worse because they take away gameplay features in that game and put them back in to claim that they're "new" and reviewers never criticize it and consumers keep buying it no matter what. I understand the person that only buys Madden to play with friends occasionally, but there is no reason a person who would consider themselves a gamer should buy any new Madden or CoD game at all.

idk, madden aint as popular as the CoD series, so i can forgive. But where CoD releases the same crap again and again with little to no innovation it kills the game and makes it simple and easier for kids to pick it up and play right from the satart without ever having to learn new things to help them in the actual game

CoD at least seems like they attempt some new ideas for each game(havn't played one in years so I'm not sure), Madden is barely better graphics with worse glitches horrible rosters even with updates and biased employees who make the ratings.
