Tyrion Lannister

Extremely doubtful. Though I like the way you think. I'd love to see a renaissance of RPGs making a return to varied paths of questing based on diplomatic or non-violent characters.

Well....I have a level 10 character who has 12 animal kills...and nothing else. The animals are 10 skeevers and 2 spiders. I haven't taken any "kill this" quest yet so I'll have to see how it plays out.
My goal is to goo without killing any people. Other stuff..well..so far I've been able to sneak past or run past.

I'm putting points into Stamina only...because I'm running away from a lot of stuff.

Skill points are going into sneak, lockpick, pickpocket, and speech only.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, wasn't that scene with Jaime sending a bunch of girls for Tyrion while in Winterfel spot on with the book?

Nope... Tyrion wasn't the six craved little dwarf till much later in his life...

And Tryrion killed people.. he just went for quality over quantity.

Now there's an RPG build...

Would it be possible ? To get through the game using followers only?

Not a single weapon kill ( maybe a very light bow or dagger?) and no spells.

Just sheer cunning and manipulation.

And full Lannister kit could be a nice mod.

he used a mace...and heavy armor in that one part, any way sounds boring to me, playing as his brother would be a bit funner, or bernin (of tarth?) would be cool. i really need to reread these books

If you remember, Tyrion killed a guy with Shield, so i would think Shield bashing would be acceptable.

And with a helmet, if I'm remembering the books correctly.

Tyrion Lannister is non-violent in the same way that a Doberman is cuddly...

Well if you read the books you know that he relies much more on his cunning than violent action. The only violent acts he performs are out of necessity.

Other stuff..well..so far I've been able to sneak past or run past.

That's not quite what I was getting at. I mean a game which has quest paths solvable via diplomacy or other non-violent solutions involving speech, set-ups or sneaking. Running from things is not exactly utilizing a well-developed path of a quest. It's just- well, it's just running.

Only problem though is that Tyrion did kill people, in fact I hear he was pretty handly with a crossbow and an axe. And when he didnt kill with those he just used Bron.

Seems to me like Tyrion would be much easier to RP in New Vegas.

Well if YOU read the books, you would know they are written by George RR Martin.

Irrelevant arguement? You betcha.

Also, the above does not detract from two things

A.) Bodycount

B.) Unbridled balls-out awesomeness

Also, I have read the books. All of them.

And, looking for seriousness in a joke answer, is like drilling for oil in a carrot: Ultimately futile.

Your response to me seemed to misinterpret the tone of my response to you. I think I'll pass this primrose path.

If you actually read the books you would know Tyrion fights on horseback fairly well.

Well, to be blunt...no. You'll eventually have to rely on combat, or magic.

Gee I want to read the books so bad but i resolved to watch at least the next season before I do! Can't wait though, it's truly a fictional masterpiece that stands out now-days.

1: Tyrion has killed plenty of people, his weapon of choice is a mace (arguably a crossbow  ). So, 1 handed is fine.
2: There aren't any races that are short enough to be a dwarf without modding.
3: The dialogue options are so painfully shallow and without choice that the cunning/manipulation route won't work.

I've named all of my characters from a Game of Thrones; my stealth archer was Davos Seaworth, my Cleric was Thoros of Myr, my necromancer was Qyburn, and my newest character is Barristan the Bold (yeah I have restart-itis).

Someone on the forums made a Jaime Lannister build using a sword in his left hand.

Uh.... did we read the same books?

My eyes lit up when I saw that name. Such a great guy. And I'm going to try this, just level up with various things like restoration so I don't die and my buds don't die

Um...Tyrion killed plenty of people during his adventures in ASoIaF. His most memorable quote being "Those look like brave men over there, let's kill them!" (Battle of The Blackwater. They better include that in Season 2...)

The thing is Tyrion wasn't a Mage/capable of using any spells. Perhaps if you could be a dwarf and use a crossbow in this game (i'd really like one for my criminal character..) and the occasional dagger. Tyrion's a more political figure. At least for a bit.

if you read the books you will see even more Tyrion did... ;-)

Don′t want to spoil the books but Tyrion is one of my favourite characters in A Song of Ice and Fire for he is incalculable.

Spoiler
Tyrion smashed a dude with shield (in the show not the book I think he used a helmet), killed a bunch of dudes with an Ax, straggled a prosttute, and shot his father with a crossbow, pure nonviolence right?

EDIT: added spoilers

List the violent acts he performs frivolously.
Spoiler
His killing of Shae was frivolous, I mean she was a prosttute

I haven't yet made one although my favorite playthrough in DA origins was Briene of Tarth

I don't know how to do the spoiler tag, so without giving too much away there was that one prosttute, and I wouldn't say the famous crossbow kill was out of "necessity," as you had said.

when you reply its the third menu from the left, click on it and select the BBCode you need, in this case spoiler and I'd maintain that he did need to

Thanks! I disagree, though, I believe

Spoiler
he diverted from the path to exit the castle grounds, I believe he could have just as easily made for the free cities with his father alive. Killing his father was revenge, not a tactical move.
