Lordy, the UI is a minor inconvenience at worst, and you soon get used to it. It's not that much of a big deal to put up with it until a mod comes out.

Don't listen to forum drama-queens - for them, the world comes to an end every time a sequel is released.

I think the UI is fine. It takes some getting used to, because it's different. For example, I misclick a lot and accidentally take items I meant to leave. It's nothing serious that keeps me from enjoying the game, and as I log more hours I'm sure I'll get used to it. It's really not a big deal.

It's ok, I never had real problems with it. I still confuse q and tab and putting things in your right/left hand so I end up in teh favorites clicking 10 times before havin it right.

I heard that you can pair up weapons/spells so you can equip them instantly without going into fav everytime but didn't figure that out yet

In my case, all those UI issues were fixed by the day one patch. Just let Steam do its thing, update the game, restart the PC and try again. Now here's an evil thought, maybe it's creative DRM on Beth's part, like the Rocksteady Batman cape glitch that hit pirate copies. :flamethrower:

Also, re: mouse lag, edit your ini file to disable vertical sync, that's what's causing it (and also slowing down your frames). Check out tweakguides.com for details (and stay tuned for their in-depth guide to squeezing more performance out of the game)

Im not a huge fan of the UI myself, and truly looking forward to something like a DarnUI.

As others have mentioned, once you get used to it, its not quite as bad. But, it doesnt feel right with a Mouse/KB

Put it this way (FWIW)..
Plugin a Xbox 360 Controller, and everything seems fine. Easy to navigate and get around etc. Pretty Decent UI, cant really complain.

Go back to the KB/Mouse, and that same UI feels like a chore to get anywhere.

Im more of a Mouse/KB player myself. Although I do like my 360 controller for certain games. For example,a game like Tomb Raider plays better with a 360 controller IMHO.
But a Game like Skyrim is far better on the KB. Hoping for a UI mod soon TBH.

No. Guys, please stop repeating these things and more like "drama queen" at people who have issues with the game. It's really not building a good image of the fan community here. People are having legitimate issues with their legitimate copies of the game. If you don't like their complaints, then don't read feedback threads. Honestly if there is complete civility on their part, the lack of it on the person insulting them is very telling of the general maturity of these boards. It's getting really old.

Nope. Too much silly childish flaming. I don't have time to clean up this dreck.

Differences of opinion are not only common on a forum - I can guarantee you're going to find someone you don't agree with here. It's the nature of an internet forum. If you can't be civilized like respectable little forum-goers, you're going to end up warned and suspended.

People get to come here and say what they don't like about the game. People get to disagree with them. What we don't allow is personal attacks and silly little condescending remarks and insults.
