I am a Vampire AND a Werewolf!

I am a she, by the way. So you think I should just keep both?

Oh, sorry.

But yes, you may as well keep both. The only real downside to being a Vampire is the fire resistance, but you can just keep a stock of potions ready to nullify that.

Here's a question though; In the lore, doesn't both becoming a Werewolf and becoming a Vampire like, double your speed, strength, and senses? Wouldn't becoming a Vampire on TOP of being a Werewolf like, quadruple everything? Even if you're not transformed, you should be able to outrun and outdistance a DRAGON in a state like that, not even counting other perks.

Add that pic to the OP to silence the naysayers.

Guys thus has been out since Skyrim was released. You can still becime a vampire but NOT an vampire lord. There was an glitch whwre you used Hircines ribg and cure yourself. That got patched. This though is still an general bug.

I say cure vamp. Without VL, regular vamps are terrible. VL is the only good thing about being a vamp in my opinion.

I posted on here last week about this and just loaded an earlier save because I thought it was just a glitch. I have figured out how it happens. Serana and I were in a fight with Foresworn at Dead Crone's Rock and I got really close to her in the heat of battle and the next thing I saw on the screen was that my vampire blood was boiling in the sun. So I checked my active effects and sure enough have vampire powers and weaknesses. So I checked to see if I still have wolf blood and, just to be sure, I transformed into beast form. Yep..I am officially both now, unless she hit me with some kind of spell that will wear off? If that is the case, then wouldn't the active effects show the vampire powers with so many hours left until they wear off? I am stunned. I play on xbox or I could post a screen if I was on pc. I am serious about this. Does Bethesda know about this bug?

I had this happen to me today with my lvl 51 Breton (approx 94 hrs in). I copied my savefile over and started a new char, figured I had completly messed it up. I read on another post some suggestions to get rid of the vampirism.

Here's the link: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1392224-help-i-have-beast-blood-and-vampire-blood-together/

I'm going to try the suggestions listed in the above post and as much as it pains me dismiss Serana as a follower. Maybe that will prevent this situation from happenning again.

Good luck.....

This is very interesting.
There are certain abilities only available to vampires (people never seem to know about the little trick involving this specific order):
1. Become vampire
2. Pick Necromage perk (from the restoration tree).
3. Pick up the atronach perk
4. Pick up atronach stone (the stone/perk are interchangable but getting the perk first and then the stone allows for a more stable switch between stone powers at all times).

Guess what happens? 100% spell absorption. Unfortunately this prevents you entirely from using the conjuration tree but you can always switch between stones and cast your thralls when you need them.

PS. You HAVE to be a vampire first THEN pick the necromage perk THEN go for the atronach perk/stone otherwise this WON'T work.
